A CNET Home video published on September 9, 2024, is explicitly framed as an unboxing of a “NEW MODEL (2024)” and covers setup, initial impressions, and policies. Its presenter is identified as a Certified Sleep Science Coach; the description also says Nectar supplied the featured products free of charge and CNET had no obligation to give a favorable review. How firm is the Nectar Classic?
Nectar uses both “medium-firm” and “firm” language in its current descriptions. Those are the company’s qualitative labels, not an independent firmness measurement, so a shopper who is sensitive to firmness should not treat either phrase as a precise score or guarantee of how the mattress will feel to them. Nectar’s current Classic descriptions.
The product page describes the foam as pressure-relieving, but the available evidence does not include independent comparative findings about pressure relief, temperature, motion transfer, or support. It therefore cannot establish how the mattress performs for a particular sleeping position, body type, or preference.

What does Nectar’s current trial allow?
Nectar’s trial policy, effective July 28, 2026, says eligible customers who buy directly from Nectar or certain authorized retailers may try a new mattress for up to 365 nights starting on delivery. Use requires a proper base, frame, or foundation. A return requires a request and remains subject to the policy’s conditions; the policy says the mattress must be in sanitary condition for donation and free of rips, stains, or signs of wear and tear. The same policy gives different trial periods for other product categories: 60 nights for furniture, 30 nights for bedding, and 100 nights for mattress toppers, also effective July 28, 2026. Those periods do not apply to mattresses.

What does Nectar say about materials and certification?
