It introduced an LED light-therapy face mask, a smart multicolor floor lamp, PC and TV screen-mirroring lights, and a paid desktop-software tier. Not everything was shipping immediately, and current U.S. listings differ from the original launch pricing.
As of August 2026, the face mask and floor lamp are active Nanoleaf products. The mask is listed at $249.99, or $199.99 on sale, while the floor lamp is listed at $119.99. The PC lightstrip remains listed at $49.99. Current availability and pricing for the 4D V2 and Nanoleaf Premium should be checked before purchase.

What Nanoleaf announced
This was not one unified product family. Nanoleaf expanded into four distinct areas:
- Wellness: an LED light-therapy face mask.
- Ambient lighting: a slim, multicolor smart floor lamp.
- Screen synchronization: a PC monitor lightstrip and the camera-based Nanoleaf 4D V2 for TVs.
- Software: Nanoleaf Premium features for the desktop app.
The original announcement described a mix of preorders, planned releases and software features rather than four products that all shipped on January 7. Nanoleaf’s launch announcement placed the PC lightstrip and 4D V2 in a planned second-quarter 2025 release window.

Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask
The rechargeable mask is the most unusual product in the announcement. It has 432 LEDs arranged as 108 bulbs, with four LEDs per bulb. It combines visible wavelengths with near-infrared light at 850 nm and offers seven selectable modes:
- Red: 640 nm plus 850 nm NIR
- Green: 520 nm plus 850 nm NIR
- Blue: 460 nm plus 850 nm NIR
- Cyan: 460 nm, 525 nm and 850 nm
- Yellow: 640 nm, 525 nm and 850 nm
- Purple: 640 nm, 460 nm and 850 nm
- White: 640 nm, 525 nm, 460 nm and 850 nm
Each mode has five intensity levels. The controller supports sessions from one to 30 minutes, while Nanoleaf recommends using the mask for approximately five to 10 minutes. The company markets different modes for concerns including fine lines, acne, redness, inflammation, dark spots, irritation and uneven texture.
Those are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Nanoleaf’s product page says users may see visible improvements in four to six weeks and fuller results after eight to 10 weeks, but the reviewed sources do not establish independent evidence for those timelines or for this device’s long-term effectiveness.
Specifications and use
- Mask weight: 258 g
- Controller weight: 106 g
- Battery: 2,500 mAh
- Charging time: approximately 3.5 hours
- Claimed battery life: approximately 80 minutes per charge
- Charging connection: USB-A to USB-C
- Current product-page warranty: one year
Nanoleaf says to wash and dry your face, put on the mask, select a mode and duration, and complete your normal skincare routine afterward. Use it on clean, dry, bare skin; products applied beforehand may create a barrier between the LEDs and skin. It does not need to remain plugged in during treatment.

The mask is controlled manually and is specifically described as not smart or app-connected. It is therefore a wellness device carrying the Nanoleaf name, not an Apple Home, Matter or Nanoleaf-app accessory.
Regulatory and safety qualifications
Nanoleaf’s current page labels the product “FDA Cleared” and uses language such as “dermatologist approved.” These statements should not be read as broad FDA approval, a guarantee of cosmetic results or proof that every advertised benefit has been independently established.
Read the manual before use and follow the stated session duration. Stop if you experience eye discomfort, pain, unusual redness or skin irritation. Consult a clinician or dermatologist first if you have a photosensitive condition, take photosensitizing medication, have an active skin disorder or are receiving dermatological treatment. The mask is not a substitute for medical care or prescription acne treatment. Independent verification of eye safety, performance across skin types, treatment consistency and durability was not established in the reviewed material.

Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Floor Lamp
The floor lamp is the clearest smart-home product in the announcement. It provides indirect lighting, tunable white light, more than 16 million colors, music synchronization, screen mirroring, Nanoleaf Scenes and schedules.

- Visualize Your Songs: 6 kinds of Music Sync Modes make every lights panels dance to the rhythm. Turn your favorite gaming songs into a symphony of flowing light . Enjoy the fantastic moment with Govee hexagon lights.
- Rich Animated Effects: Select from animated multicolor scene effects based on nature, holidays and more. Govee Home App intelligently recognizes the position of hexagon lights for seamlessly flowing rainbow-like effects across your entire design.
- Smart App & Voice Controls: AI lighting bot 2.0 turns intent into personalized lighting effect—and refines it through conversation. Works with Alexa & Google Assistant for hands-free control of wall panel colors, brightness, and effects.
The current product page lists a height of approximately 4.6 feet (1.4 meters), a 19 mm aluminum frame, 22 W rated power and a claimed LED lifetime of 25,000 hours. It is for indoor use only and is rated IP20, so it is not intended for damp or outdoor locations.
The lamp supports Matter along with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Homey. A compatible Matter hub is required for Matter-based smart-home control. It also needs continuous connection to a power outlet; it is not cordless or battery-powered.
At $119.99, it is best understood as an ambient-lighting fixture rather than a replacement for a bright task lamp. The slim profile may suit a small room, gaming setup or streaming background, but color count does not tell you how bright the lamp is or how accurately it renders colors.

PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip versus Nanoleaf 4D V2
These products address different screens and use different approaches.

PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip
The PC lightstrip uses a zig-zag design intended to bend around monitor corners. Nanoleaf announced real-time color mirroring for games and movies and originally reported that Mac compatibility was unavailable at launch. The current catalog lists the product at $49.99, but operating-system support should be checked for the exact model and current software version rather than relying on the 2025 limitation.
This is the more natural choice for a desktop monitor, especially for PC gamers and streamers who already use Nanoleaf lighting. Confirm the required software, power connection and monitor arrangement before buying.
Check Nanoleaf’s PC Screen Mirror listing.
Nanoleaf 4D V2
The 4D V2 is designed for televisions. Its camera reads colors on the screen in real time and adjusts the lightstrip to match. That makes it a fundamentally different system from desktop software mirroring.
A camera-based design may work across more TV content, but it adds mounting, calibration and privacy considerations. Buyers should be comfortable positioning a camera toward the television and should not assume the PC lightstrip and 4D V2 have the same setup or compatibility requirements.

Nanoleaf Premium and the desktop app
Nanoleaf also announced Premium for its desktop app at $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. The announced features included:
- Orchestrator: identifies songs and creates lighting animations tailored to individual tracks.
- Scenescapes: combines lighting effects with soothing sounds.
Nanoleaf continues to maintain a desktop-app page, but current Premium pricing and availability were not independently re-established. Treat the subscription price above as historical launch pricing, not a confirmed 2026 offer.
What changed after the announcement?
- January 7, 2025: Nanoleaf announced the mask, floor lamp, screen-mirroring products and Premium software.
- Q2 2025: The PC lightstrip and 4D V2 were planned for release during this period.
- August 2026: Current pages located the face mask at $249.99 regular/$199.99 sale, the floor lamp at $119.99 and the PC lightstrip at $49.99. The current exact status of the 4D V2 and Premium pricing remained less clear.
The announcement prices are therefore useful for historical context, not as current buying prices. The mask increased from the announced $150, and the floor lamp increased from the announced $100.

Which product fits which buyer?
- LED skincare experiment: Consider the face mask if you want a rechargeable, hands-free controller-based device and accept that the benefit claims are manufacturer claims. Avoid it if you require independent clinical testing or app control.
- Matter or Apple Home household: Consider the floor lamp if you want Nanoleaf Scenes, platform flexibility and ambient light. Check for a compatible Matter hub if that is how you plan to control it.
- PC gaming or streaming: Consider the PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip, but verify current operating-system and desktop-software support first.
- TV ambient lighting: Consider the 4D system if camera-based color matching and calibration are acceptable. It is not simply a larger PC lightstrip.
- No subscriptions: The mask and floor lamp are hardware products; Premium was announced as an optional paid desktop-software tier. Confirm current software features before subscribing.
Bottom line
Nanoleaf’s 2025 announcement was notable because it moved beyond panels and bulbs into wellness hardware, a conventional floor lamp, screen-reactive lighting and subscription software. The products should be judged separately: the face mask is not a smart-home accessory, the floor lamp is the strongest Matter-focused offering, and the PC and TV systems differ in both screen type and mirroring method. For a 2026 purchase, use current product pages and confirm compatibility, warranty terms, pricing and software availability rather than relying on the original launch announcement.
