How much cement did Morocco deliver in September 2026?
Ministry figures attributed to the Association professionnelle des cimentiers (APC) put September 2026 deliveries at 1.46 million tonnes, compared with about 1.22 million tonnes in September 2025. That is a 19.31% year-over-year increase. The tonnages are reported in rounded form, so the percentage is more precise than the underlying figures suggest. FNH.ma and Le Matin reported the figures in 2026.
How does September compare with the year-to-date trend?
From January through September 2026, national deliveries totalled about 10.98 million tonnes, compared with about 10.86 million tonnes in January–September 2025. The resulting increase was 1.17%. September’s sharp year-over-year rise therefore stands out against a modest cumulative gain; one monthly comparison alone does not establish a sustained market recovery.

How are Morocco’s cement delivery totals compiled?
The APC says IPSOS collects and aggregates delivery figures from its member companies and sends them to the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy. The Ministry combines those member figures with deliveries from non-member operators before publishing national totals. The APC says the national total and segment breakdowns are published monthly, while regional figures are released with a six-month delay. APC methodology
The APC members identified in the reports are Asment Témara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, Holcim Maroc (also rendered as LafargeHolcim Maroc in some reports), and Novacim. The national figure therefore includes more than APC-member deliveries alone.

No cause for September’s increase is established by the reported figures. They do not show whether the rise was driven by infrastructure work, housing demand, seasonal factors, or another influence. The delivery totals describe what was reported, not why it changed.
