Maker Faire Miami 2026 took place April 25–26 at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo Center’s Fuchs Pavilion. The organizer called it “the biggest one yet,” promoting more than 250 makers and exhibitors and over 49,000 square feet of exhibits; those figures and the superlative are organizer claims, not independently verified comparisons. The official recap reported more than 5,000 attendees. [Maker Faire Miami]

What was Maker Faire Miami 2026?

It was a two-day, in-person festival showcasing hands-on making across robotics, drones, cosplay, crafts, art, design, aerospace and AI. The event ran from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 25 and 26, 2026, at the Fuchs Pavilion of the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo Center in Miami, Florida. [Maker Faire Miami]

Maker Faire Miami described the event as “the biggest one yet.” Its April 17 announcement advertised over 250 makers and exhibitors and over 49,000 square feet of exhibits. The official homepage’s retrospective excerpt reported over 5,000 students, families, educators and makers at the event. These are figures published by Maker Faire Miami for 2026; no independent audit or comparison series was identified to verify them. [Maker Faire Miami]

What could visitors see and do?

The event was framed as a participation-focused showcase, not only a display of finished projects. Maker Faire Miami’s January 5, 2026 announcement put it this way: “This is not a spectator event. This is a participation event.” [Maker Faire Miami]
