Where the proposed elevated road will run
The reported corridor follows Gopalpura Bypass from the Triveni Nagar ROB toward an area near Gujjar Ki Thadi. Construction World describes the proposal as a connection between those points; the available information does not provide a more detailed alignment or route map. Construction World’s 1 October 2026 report is the source for the reported approval and corridor description.
What the reported approval covers
Construction World says the revised proposal received approval for ₹2.51 billion (₹251 crore) at JDA’s 10th Project Works Committee meeting. It places that approval within a package of JDA development works valued at more than ₹5.75 billion. The report does not provide a detailed cost breakdown or clarify how the approval amount relates to the earlier tender value.
A targeted search of JDA’s official domain did not locate confirmation of the committee decision. The approval details should therefore be treated as reported by Construction World, rather than independently verified through an available JDA notice or meeting record.

How the 2025 tender relates to the report
A Government of Rajasthan e-procurement record shows an April 2025 tender for “Construction of Elevated Road at Gopalpura Bypass from Triveni Nagar ROB to Near Gujar Ki Thadi, Jaipur.” It lists a tender value of ₹1,70,67,21,000 and a work period of 900 days. Those are figures from the earlier tender record, not confirmation of the revised approval amount or a current contract and schedule.
The record predates the October 2026 report. It establishes that procurement for the named corridor was recorded in 2025, but does not show that construction is underway or that the 900-day period applies to a current programme. View the Government of Rajasthan e-procurement entry.

Has construction started, and when will it finish?
The available report gives no construction start date, revised tender timetable or completion date. The 900-day period in the April 2025 tender should not be read as a current construction countdown: the record does not establish a later award, commencement date or updated schedule. A confirmed implementation stage would require a subsequent tender or award notice, a formal sanction or other JDA record.
Do not confuse it with Hawa Sarak
This Gopalpura Bypass proposal is distinct from JDA’s Hawa Sarak Elevated Road. The older Hawa Sarak document describes an alignment from the Rambagh/LIC area toward Sodala and gives that separate project an estimated cost of ₹250 crore. What remains unconfirmed
The available sources do not establish a quantified traffic reduction, travel-time saving or beneficiary count for the Gopalpura Bypass road. They also do not provide the committee minutes or a later administrative and financial sanction confirming the reported October 2026 decision. Until such records are available, the reported approval, the older tender entry and any claim that construction has begun should be kept separate.
