Where was Usain Bolt’s penthouse?
The Sky House is in the Araluen apartment complex at Point Frederick on Australia’s Central Coast. Contemporary reports said Bolt rented the penthouse during his 2018 trial with the Central Coast Mariners. A later report described the stay as lasting a couple of months. Domain’s report and Urban’s 2019 coverage describe a temporary rental, not ownership.
What was inside The Sky House?
Nine’s September 2018 feature described the residence as a 1,089-square-metre penthouse occupying the building’s entire top floor. It had five bedrooms, four bathrooms, panoramic water views and a wraparound balcony. Nine’s feature credited its property imagery to LJ Hooker.
Reported listing features
Domain’s account of the property’s listing also noted a private heated outdoor spa, lawn and covered deck, a master suite with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, a kitchen with Caesarstone benchtops and Miele appliances, a three-car garage, and private lift access. These are property-listing details; they do not show which features Bolt used or selected.

What did the penthouse cost?
The figures refer to different dates and kinds of property transactions, so they should not be treated as one price paid by Bolt. The amounts reported were in Australian dollars.

No. The Australian penthouse is separate from historical accounts of Bolt’s home in Jamaica. BBC Sport reported in November 2016 that Kingston had been his home since he was 16, and a contemporaneous GQ profile described his home in the hills outside Kingston. Those profiles do not establish where he lives now.
Bolt also spoke in 2013 about his imagined retirement home, describing a possible basketball court, indoor and outdoor pools, a floodlit football field and a quad-bike track. That description, reproduced by NBC Sports from his autobiography Faster than Lightning, was a dream-home idea—not a description of The Sky House.
