Reports associate Novak Djokovic with homes in Belgrade, Monte Carlo, Miami, New York City and Marbella, while 2025 coverage described a move with his family to Greece. That is a reported property and residence history—not a verified inventory of what he legally owns today. The available accounts are journalism, not title records, and the distinction matters: one reported home was sold, another location is described as a former base, and the Greece report does not establish a property purchase.
What is known about Djokovic’s property history?
Property coverage has linked Djokovic to residences or purchases in several countries over time. The clearest reported transactions include two New York SoHo apartments and a Miami penthouse in 2017, a Marbella villa purchase reported in 2020, and a reported sale of the Miami condo in 2020. Other accounts describe Belgrade and Monte Carlo residences, while a 2025 report relayed a move to Greece.
These accounts do not establish present legal ownership across the locations. No land-registry records, deeds, complete sale history or verified current portfolio valuation are available in the cited reporting. Treat prices and descriptions below as claims attributed to the named outlets, rather than independently confirmed property records.
Where has Djokovic been reported to live or own property?
| Location | What reports say | What that establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Belgrade, Serbia | VnExpress describes a New Belgrade penthouse; other coverage associates Djokovic with a Belgrade residence. The ATP’s 2025 player guide identifies Belgrade as his birthplace. | Reported residence association and birthplace; neither confirms current ownership. VnExpress · ATP Tour |
| Monte Carlo, Monaco | Reports describe Monte Carlo as a home base for around 15 years. | A reported former residence; current ownership is not established. realestate.com.au |
| Miami, Florida | Architectural Digest reports a $5.77 million penthouse purchase in 2017. realestate.com.au says the condo was sold in 2020. | A historical purchase and reported sale, not a current holding. Architectural Digest · realestate.com.au |
| SoHo, New York City | Architectural Digest reports that Djokovic bought two apartment units in 2017 for more than $10 million combined. | A reported historical purchase; later sale and present title status are not established. Architectural Digest |
| Marbella, Spain | Coverage reports a Moroccan-style villa purchase in 2020. In 2025, AS reported municipal penalties over unlicensed work at the property. | A reported purchase and a later renovation-enforcement story; the report does not settle current ownership, permitting or required work. Architectural Digest · AS |
| Greece | Le Monde reported that another outlet said Djokovic and his family moved to Greece in August 2025. | A reported relocation only; the coverage does not establish a Greek property purchase. Le Monde |
What the reported prices do—and do not—tell us
New York and Miami transactions
Architectural Digest’s 2026 overview puts the combined reported price of the two SoHo units purchased in 2017 at more than $10 million. The same article reports a $5.77 million Miami penthouse purchase. The latter figure is a historical purchase price, and the condo was reportedly sold in 2020; neither amount is a current market valuation.

A secondary outlet’s portfolio tally
realestate.com.au gives a combined reported-price total of $43.161 million for properties it counted, excluding one property whose price was unknown. That is the outlet’s tally of reported prices, not a verified complete inventory, current valuation or net-worth estimate. Adding historic purchase prices cannot establish what the properties are worth now.
What happened with the Marbella villa?
Reports place the villa purchase in 2020. In 2025, AS described municipal penalties concerning unlicensed work at the mansion. That account is a dated development about construction and municipal enforcement, not proof of the present outcome. It does not establish whether the ownership has changed, whether permits were later obtained, or whether work remains to be completed.

Why birthplace and residence reports are not ownership records
The ATP’s 2025 player guide lists Belgrade as Djokovic’s birthplace, while property coverage has described a Belgrade penthouse. Those are different kinds of evidence: biography supplies context, and journalism reports a residence association. Neither alone confirms legal title or current occupancy. The same caution applies to coverage of Monte Carlo as a long-term home base and Greece as a reported family relocation.
For a construction-minded reader, it is also useful to separate a property’s purchase history from later work on the building. The Marbella account concerns alleged unlicensed work and municipal penalties; it should not be read as a complete record of the villa’s construction, permits or present condition.

How to read claims about the portfolio
- Reported purchase: an outlet says a transaction took place; it is not a substitute for a deed or current title search.
- Former home base: a report about where someone lived does not show they still live there or own property there.
- Reported relocation: a move, including the 2025 Greece account, does not itself prove a home purchase.
- Reported sale: the Miami sale report is a reason not to list that condo as a current holding.
- Reported price: a past transaction price is not a present appraisal, and a partial outlet tally is not a complete portfolio valuation.
