Reporting centers on one large residence in Destrehan, Louisiana, associated with Jesse Duplantis Ministries—not a verified portfolio of multiple homes. MinistryWatch relays local reporting that describes it as a 25-room parsonage with 22,039 square feet of living space and 12,947 square feet of accessory areas. Those figures describe reported size, not a current appraisal or confirmed market value.

Where is Jesse Duplantis’ residence?

The residence discussed in published accounts is in Destrehan, Louisiana, and is associated with Jesse Duplantis Ministries. The St. Charles Parish directory lists the ministry at 1973 Ormond Boulevard in Destrehan. The ministry’s June 2025 magazine, Voice of the Covenant, also places its international headquarters in Destrehan. These sources establish the ministry’s location, but they do not by themselves confirm a parcel-level owner for the residence.

How large is the reported house?

MinistryWatch says the residence is a 25-room parsonage owned by Jesse Duplantis Ministries and cites the St. Charles Herald Guide for its area figures:

Reported component Area
Living space 22,039 square feet
Accessory areas, including patios and garages 12,947 square feet
Total of the two reported components 34,986 square feet

The total is the sum of the two reported components; the figures are not independently verified measurements in the materials cited here. The available reporting does not provide a room-by-room plan or details that would confirm how the 25 rooms are counted.

Why do some accounts say 40,000 square feet?

MinistryWatch quotes a remark attributed to Duplantis at Kenneth Copeland’s 2015 Southwest Believers’ Conference: “Do I have a beautiful house? … God’s gonna burn it down. He’s gonna burn it down. To build that house is $500 a square foot. It’s 40,000 square foot … Don’t get so mad at me. You figure it out.”

The rounded 40,000-square-foot figure in that reported conference remark is not the same as the 34,986-square-foot total of living and accessory areas relayed from local reporting. The sources do not reconcile the difference, so the figures should not be treated as interchangeable. The remark is attributed speech rather than an independently measured building specification.

How much is the residence worth?

No current primary appraisal or verified present-day market value is established by the available sources. Duplantis’ reported statement of $500 per square foot concerns construction cost; it is not an appraisal and cannot establish what the property would sell for today. Construction cost, assessed value and market value are different measures.

A September 14, 2026, article by Mansion Inside notes that online estimates vary and that no recent arms-length sale provides a clean market benchmark. Without a current appraisal or a documented comparable sale, a definitive present-day price would be unsupported. The cited reporting also does not verify the residence’s current tax classification.

Does Jesse Duplantis own multiple homes?

The sources substantiate reporting about one Destrehan residence associated with Jesse Duplantis Ministries. They do not establish a complete list of homes or prove that he owns multiple residences. MinistryWatch describes the property as a ministry-owned parsonage; the available material does not independently confirm current parcel ownership.
