A childcare centre and fast food outlet have been approved for 39 Odin Road, Innaloo. The City of Stirling responsible-authority report lists the proposed development value as $2.7 million; that is the application’s stated value, not a confirmed construction cost.
What is approved at 39 Odin Road?
The Metro Inner-North Development Assessment Panel approved the child care premises and fast food outlet at Lot 435, 39 Odin Road, on 5 January 2024, subject to conditions. The application was made by Germano Designs for owner Gang Ren. The official record describes the second use as a fast food outlet; The Sector’s coverage describes it as a takeaway coffee venue connected to the centre.

What capacity and operating hours were reported?
The Sector reported that the proposed centre would accommodate 108 children and operate on weekdays from 6:30am to 7pm. It reported weekday takeaway coffee hours of 6:30am to 9am and 3:30pm to 7pm. What conditions apply to the approval?
The panel minutes include an amended landscaping condition requiring at least four advanced trees to be planted on site before occupation and maintained thereafter to the City’s satisfaction. The decision also provides a four-year period from 5 January 2024 for substantial commencement; otherwise, the approval lapses. See the official panel minutes.
Has the centre been built or opened?
The available approval record and 2024 coverage establish the decision and the proposal’s reported details, but do not establish whether construction has since begun, whether the centre has opened, or whether the approval period has been extended. The approval itself is not confirmation that the project was completed.
