Set a Roborock cleaning schedule in the Roborock app: select your robot, open Schedule or Routines, choose a start time and the cleaning area if those options are available, then save. Menu names and room-selection features vary by model and app version, so use the steps shown for your specific robot.
Set a basic cleaning schedule
- Open the Roborock app and select your robot. Roborock documents app-based scheduling for E-series and S-series models, including E2, E3, and E4. The support pages do not establish one universal sequence of taps for every model. See Roborockโs E-series scheduling guidance and S-series scheduling guidance.
- Find Schedule or Routines. The label depends on the model and app interface. Roborock says its Routines feature can schedule cleaning for a specific area, a room, or the whole house; the options shown will depend on your robot.
- Choose the start time and recurrence. Set the time and select the repeat pattern offered in the app. Available recurrence choices are not confirmed as identical across all Roborock models.
- Select the cleaning area, if offered, and save. For whole-home cleaning, leave the default selection or choose the whole-home option displayed. For a room or area, choose the desired target and tap the appโs save or confirmation control.
- Keep the robot connected to Wi-Fi. Roborock says an S7 must be connected to Wi-Fi for a scheduled cleaning to start. Check your modelโs support page if you have a different robot.
Schedule a room on a multi-floor map
Roborock documents a specific multi-floor room-scheduling workflow for the S4 Max and S5 Max. It is not a universal menu path for all models.
- In the app, open Settings > Schedule.
- Use Clean Position to select the floor map.
- Choose the room to clean, then tap the check mark to save.
If you cannot choose a room, check that the correct floor map is saved and that your model supports selective room cleaning. The S6 MaxV manual says a full map and Map Saving mode are required for selective room cleaning. Troubleshoot a schedule that did not run
Check the connection and saved schedule
- Confirm that the schedule appears in the app and that the time and repeat pattern are correct.
- For an S7, verify that the robot is connected to Wi-Fi. Roborock identifies Wi-Fi connectivity as a requirement for a scheduled S7 cleaning to start.
Check Do Not Disturb hours
On the S6 MaxV, the manual says the robot will not start a cleanup during its configured Do Not Disturb period. That modelโs stated default is 22:00โ08:00; this should not be assumed to apply to other Roborock robots. Review the DND setting if your schedule falls within quiet hours. See the S6 MaxV manual.

Verify the map and room options
If the schedule is for a particular room or floor, check that the map is saved and that the app has the expected room-selection controls. A missing option may reflect a model limitation or a different app interface, rather than a fault with the schedule.
Expect model-specific app labels
Roborockโs support material does not confirm that every current app version uses the same labels or menu sequence. If your screen differs, open the selected robotโs device page and consult the support guidance or manual for that exact model. Roborockโs S7 scheduling page provides model-specific details.
