How the outlet concealer works
Sleek Socket plugs into a duplex outlet and covers the receptacle, then routes power through a cord to outlets farther away. Instead of several plugs and cords gathered at the wall outlet, you see the concealer and one routed cord. The included adhesive clips can hold that cord along a wall, according to BGRโs May 12, 2025 article.
This is an outlet-level cleanup, not a way to make every cord disappear. The cord still needs a route to the devices it powers; for a more finished appearance, wall-mounted cord channels or clips can guide an existing appliance cord along the wall. The available sources do not provide comparative testing of these methods.
Choose the right version for the route and devices
The manufacturer lists multiple configurations. Its examples include a 3-foot model with three outlets and a 6-foot model with six outlets and surge protection. Check the exact version before buying: cord length, outlet count, and surge protection differ by model.

Measure the path from the outlet to the area where you need power, allowing enough slack for the cord to reach without tension. Also check whether the concealerโs cover can sit properly over your outlet and whether the plug orientation and surrounding trim leave room for it.
Check the electrical rating for the exact model
A retailer listing for model 3-M-OVSZ-W describes it as for indoor use and gives maximum ratings of 13 A, 125 V, and 1,625 W. The same listing reports UL Standard 817 and CSA C22.2 No. 21 certification claims. These details apply to that listed model; they should not be assumed for every Sleek Socket version. Verify the product label and instructions for the precise model you select, and do not exceed its stated limits.

An outlet concealer is useful when the main visual problem is a cluster of plugs at one receptacle and you want several outlets at the end of a routed cord. A wall-mounted channel or clips may make more sense when you only need to guide one existing appliance cord along a wall. In either case, plan the route before attaching anything, and avoid a path that creates a trip hazard or puts strain on the cord.
