Keep surfaces and circulation clear
Reduce unnecessary clutter and leave enough clear space to move comfortably. The cited guidance also cautions against filling the space under the bed with unrelated storage. If you need to use that space, Healthline suggests keeping it to sleep-related items such as linens.
