To choose one, confirm it fits your grill and rod, check that it clears the cooking area while rotating, then compare capacity, construction and cleanup. Two official examples are the Napoleon Rotisserie Grill Basket 64000 and Weber CRAFTED Rotisserie Crisping Basket 7676; the available specifications do not establish a best overall pick.
What a rotisserie basket is for
A rotisserie basket attaches to a rotating spit and holds foods that might otherwise fall through the grill surface. Napoleon lists wings, French fries and vegetables for its basket; Weber lists fries, vegetables and popcorn for its crisping basket. Those are manufacturer-stated uses, not a guarantee that every food or loading arrangement will cook well.

These capacity figures use different units: Napoleon gives a maximum weight, while Weber gives a volume. They are not a direct comparison of how much food either basket will hold in practice; the size and shape of the food also affect loading.

Confirm compatibility
Weber names specific grill families and sizes for model 7676, so check its current compatibility information against your exact grill and rotisserie setup. Napoleon says the 64000 rod ports suit most spit-rod styles, but “most” does not confirm fit with every rod or grill. Verify your rod dimensions and attachment arrangement before purchase. Allow room for the basket to turn
A basket must rotate without striking the cooking grids or other parts of the grill. Napoleon states that the 64000 has a radius greater than 4 inches while turning and notes that grids may need removal depending on the model. Check clearance through a full rotation on your own grill rather than assuming a basket will fit because its spit rod does.
Compare capacity, materials and cleanup
Use the stated capacity as a planning reference, not a head-to-head ranking. A weight limit and a volume limit answer different questions, and bulky or irregular pieces can occupy space differently from fries or vegetables. Both manufacturers describe their cited baskets as stainless steel and dishwasher safe. Napoleon also says its baskets nest for storage; Weber specifies a removable divider.
