What’s new in Home Depot’s 2026 Halloween collection?
The Home Depot announced the collection on July 15, 2026. Online and app sales were scheduled to begin July 16, with an in-store rollout later in August, according to the company announcement. The headline return is the 12-foot Skelly, now joined by an app-controlled version and several other oversized characters.

Those capabilities belong to the app-controlled listing; they should not be assumed for the original model.

What should you plan for when setting up the original Skelly?
The original model is described as an indoor/outdoor decoration. Its product listing says tethers and ground stakes are included, and the setup is for two people. The same page gives conflicting assembly estimates—approximately 60 minutes in one passage and 45 minutes in a highlights list—so treat the time as an estimate rather than a definitive setup duration.
