Hercules plc said its Construction Services division secured approximately £5 million of UK water-sector Civils Projects contracts during the final quarter of FY2026. Most were secured in the Thames Water region. The company announced the awards on 5 October 2026.
What Hercules announced
The awards cover civil engineering and infrastructure works supporting AMP8, the UK water sector’s 2025–2030 regulatory investment programme. Hercules said the contracts commenced during FY2026 and were expected to be completed within six months of the announcement.
The announcement does not identify individual projects, clients, sites or contract values, and gives no precise regional split. It says the majority of the contracts were secured within the Thames Water region; it does not say that all the work was for Thames Water. Hercules plc announcement, 5 October 2026.
How the Q4 awards fit the FY2026 sequence
Hercules announced earlier water-sector contract batches during FY2026. The amounts below refer to separate announcements and periods, not a reconciled full-year total.

The Q2/Q3 announcement also reported £13.5 million of Civil Projects division revenue for the year ended 30 September 2025. That is historical revenue, not a FY2026 contract-award figure. The separate batch announcements should not be treated as a final FY2026 total without a company reconciliation.
What AMP8 means here
AMP8 is the regulatory investment period for water companies covering 2025–2030. Hercules described the new awards as civil engineering and infrastructure work supporting that programme. Its October announcement attributed a commitment of more than £104 billion for AMP8 to Ofwat; that figure is stated here as Hercules’s attribution, not as an independently verified regulator figure.

- A reconciled total for all of Hercules’s FY2026 water-sector contract awards.
Hercules CEO Brusk Korkmaz said the awards built on progress by the Civil Projects business and reflected continued demand for its civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities.
