Gozney’s “new Arc” is the Arc Lite, a smaller model in the Arc family—not a refreshed version of the original Arc. Gozney lists it for pizzas up to 12 inches, compared with 14 inches for Arc and 16 inches for Arc XL. Its lower listed price comes with a smaller cooking area and a thinner stone, so the practical question is whether that trade-off suits your outdoor kitchen.
What is the Gozney Arc Lite?
Arc Lite is a compact propane pizza oven introduced as a new member of Gozney’s Arc range. T3 reported that it was available to buy on February 17, 2026; Ideal Home, also writing that day, said it would be available from March 3. Those launch reports gave different availability dates, so neither should be treated as a universal current stock statement. T3’s launch report and Ideal Home’s report describe the announcement.
The headline’s price language is launch framing, not an objective value judgment. Current listed prices depend on market, and the U.S. and U.K. figures below should be read separately rather than converted into a direct comparison.

Gozney’s comparison pages list the following prices and specifications. They are manufacturer-published figures, not independent measurements or test results. Prices and product listings can change.

What you gain—and give up—with the smaller oven
Smaller footprint, not proven portability
Gozney’s published dimensions and weights show Arc Lite is smaller and lighter than the original Arc: 26.4 lb and 16.9 × 11.7 × 18.9 inches, versus 47.5 lb and 18.9 × 13.5 × 22.4 inches. That makes Arc Lite the more compact option on paper, but Gozney’s comparison marks both Arc Lite and Arc as not portable. A reduced footprint alone does not establish that either is convenient to carry around.
Less room for pizza
The capacity distinction is straightforward: Gozney lists Arc Lite for pizzas up to 12 inches, Arc for 14 inches, and Arc XL for 16 inches. If your usual pizza size exceeds 12 inches, Arc Lite’s compact design is a real constraint rather than a cosmetic difference.

Thinner stone and published warm-up time
Gozney lists Arc Lite with a removable 12 mm cordierite stone and a 20–30 minute heat-up time. The Arc and Arc XL comparison entries list 20 mm stones; that comparison does not state their heat-up times. The original Arc product page describes its 20 mm stone floor and two-layer insulation, while Arc Lite is listed with one layer of insulation. Gozney says the original Arc can reach 950°F/500°C and describes a lateral burner that creates a rolling flame; those are manufacturer claims, not independent Arc Lite test findings. Which Arc model makes sense for your outdoor cooking area?
- Choose Arc Lite if: a 12-inch pizza capacity is enough and you want the smallest, lightest Arc model listed. Its propane-only specification and 20–30 minute listed heat-up time are also relevant when planning where and how you will use it.
- Consider Arc if: you want room for a 14-inch pizza and are comfortable with the larger listed dimensions and weight. Its U.S. list price is twice Arc Lite’s, based on Gozney’s comparison page accessed October 8, 2026.
- Consider Arc XL if: 16-inch capacity is the priority and its larger listed weight and higher U.S. price fit your space and budget.
All three models are listed as propane-fueled, so the main distinctions established in Gozney’s comparison are price, capacity, size and weight, stone thickness, and—only for Arc Lite—a stated heat-up range. For a built-in outdoor kitchen or a fixed patio layout, check the current product dimensions and allow for the installation clearances required by the manufacturer; the comparison table is not an installation plan.

What the product pages do not establish
Arc Lite’s published comparison specifications do not establish independent cooking performance, results across repeated bakes, or the contents of its box. Gozney’s original Arc page lists a thermometer, 1.2 m gas hose and regulator, burner guard, flue outlet, stone adjustment tool, Torx screwdriver, matchstick holder, and manual, but those are Arc contents and should not be assumed to come with Arc Lite.
Likewise, the original Arc page’s warranty terms—one year, extendable to five years after registration within 60 days—apply to that product page’s Arc model. Confirm Arc Lite’s current warranty, included parts, and installation requirements on its own listing before purchase.
