What happened in Currambine
According to PerthNow’s report published on 29 December 2024, firefighters were called at about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday to a boat fire outside a home in Currambine. Crews found the boat fully engulfed.
Firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to nearby properties. The boat was badly damaged, and the fire was out by 5:20 a.m., PerthNow reported.
What investigators said about the cause
