|---|---|---|
| Productividad reportada (lechuga) | 0,58 lb/ft² | 0,70 lb/ft² |
| Consumo de la luminaria | 16,5 W/ft² | 16,3 W/ft² |
| Azul | 20 % | 15 % |
| Verde | 45 % | 21 % |
| Rojo | 35 % | 64 % |

La University of New Hampshire Extension, en su ficha “Growing Seedlings Under Lights”, plantea que la pregunta sobre la calidad de la luz suele distraer de lo importante: “often the question is about Quality (“should I use a grow light instead of a shop light?”) when the focus should really be on quantity, or DLI.”

| Etapa | PPFD orientativo (µmol/m²/s) |
|---|---|
| Plántula o clon | Menos de 100 |
| Crecimiento vegetativo | 100–500 |
