A 2024 report described four additional printed-concrete residences: two planned models, one three stories and one two, with three bedrooms each. Their 2025 construction and move-in dates were forecasts, however; available sources do not confirm whether the homes were completed or occupied.
Where the homes are—and what “up to three floors” means
Project Milestone is a residential 3D-concrete-printing project in Eindhoven’s Bosrijk district. Its first boulder-shaped home was completed in 2021, but that demonstration house is a separate, one-story building. The later plans covered four additional residences, including a three-story model. The project’s official Saint-Gobain Benelux case study describes the progression from the first home to the multi-story designs.
The headline refers to the proposed later models, not the number of floors in the completed first house. The distinction matters because reporting about the initial demonstration home cannot establish the outcome or specifications of the four later residences.
How the two later models were described
New Atlas reported on August 21, 2024 that the four planned homes would use two designs. The following figures are reported plans, not verified as-built specifications:

New Atlas said the homes were intended for families of up to four. The report does not establish that either model was built to those dimensions, or provide verified sale or rental prices, operating costs, energy use, or performance figures. How printed-concrete construction was supposed to work
The described process combines factory printing with conventional site work. A concrete-like material is extruded in layers to create building sections or structural elements. The sections are then transported to the site and assembled by builders. Doors, windows, roofs, interiors, and other finishing work are not all produced by the printer.

Saint-Gobain Benelux says the later homes were designed to derive their structural integrity entirely from printed concrete. That describes the intended structural concept; it does not mean every part of a finished house is printed. The project involved Eindhoven University of Technology, Van Wijnen, Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix, Vesteda, the municipality of Eindhoven, and Witteveen+Bos. Saint-Gobain identifies Houben / Van Mierlo Architects as the designers; its account assigns research and model development to the university, process refinement to Weber Beamix, engineering to Witteveen+Bos, and construction oversight to Van Wijnen.
What happened with the first, one-story house
The original 94 m² home, completed in April 2021, had two bedrooms and a boulder-like form. Dwell reported that its 24 factory-printed sections took 120 hours to print. That figure is the reported printing time for the sections—not the total time to complete the home. Windows, doors, the roof, assembly, and finishing required additional work. Dwell also reported that tenants Elize Lutz and Harrie Dekkers were selected for a six-month rental of this first house. These details concern the 2021 demonstration home, not the later multi-story plans.

In Dwell’s account, Lutz described the house as quiet, saying, “As soon as you close the door, you don’t hear anything. You really are in your own bubble.” That is her reported experience, not a result from independent acoustic testing. Dwell also quoted Weber Benelux CEO Bas Huysmans discussing the potential for digital design and parametric models to enable individually designed homes; this is an industry executive’s view, not proof of the later homes’ cost, speed, or performance. The available sources do not establish whether the four later homes were completed, occupied, sold, or rented. Saint-Gobain Benelux’s case study still gives an earlier schedule: construction was slated to begin in early 2025, with residents expected by summer 2025. New Atlas likewise reported a 2025 schedule. Those dates were plans, not confirmation of delivery, so they should not be treated as evidence of the homes’ current status.
