Drumi is a manually operated, non-electric washer made for small laundry batches—not a replacement for a full-size household washing machine. Yirego specifies a 2.0 kg capacity, up to 8 L of water for washing and up to 8 L for rinsing, followed by a 30-second spin cycle. Its official product page currently lists it as out of stock, so check the page for current availability and pricing before making plans.
What Drumi is—and what it is not
Yirego’s Drumi is a compact washer powered by the user rather than electricity. The manufacturer describes it for uses such as RVs, mobile homes, off-grid living, workout gear and situations where someone might otherwise hand-wash clothes. Its small capacity makes it suited to a few lightweight items at a time, not a household laundry load. The manual cautions against washing large, heavy items, and Digital Trends’ 2017 hands-on report likewise characterized it as a small-batch machine.
For a construction site or other work setting, that distinction matters: Drumi may be useful for a small change of clothes or similarly limited batch where electrical access is inconvenient, but the stated capacity and operating method do not support treating it as a high-volume workwear washer.

How the wash process works
Drumi’s published cycle times cover washing, rinsing and spinning, but the process also requires the user to add and change water. The stated maximum is 8 L for washing and another 8 L for rinsing; the figures are per stage, not a single total for a complete wash. Pre-soak time varies according to the laundry. The machine does not remove the need for hands-on effort or a place to dry clothes afterward.
- Wash: Yirego lists 3–5 minutes.
- Rinse: Yirego lists 2–3 minutes, using a separate rinse stage.
- Spin: Yirego lists 30 seconds and a maximum spin speed of 600 RPM.
- Dry: The spin stage is not a heated drying cycle. Yirego’s product page says to let nature do the rest.
Yirego describes Drumi as environmentally friendly, but the published specifications alone do not establish that it uses less water or has a lower carbon footprint than a conventional washer. A fair comparison would require like-for-like measurements for the complete wash-and-rinse process and other relevant impacts.

Fabric, water and detergent guidance
The Yirego use-and-care manual says to wash machine-washable fabrics, use warm tap water no hotter than 60°C, and choose commercially available detergent suitable for washing machines. The manual says not to use chlorine bleach and warns against large, heavy items. It lists four spare springs among the box contents; that does not establish whether replacement springs or other parts can currently be obtained.
