WOOD Magazine’s Double-duty changing table/dresser plan is for a piece designed to serve first as a changing station and later as a child’s dresser. How the changing table becomes a dresser
The design’s intended transition is straightforward: use it as a changing table, then remove the changing pad and let the child choose drawer pulls that suit their style. WOOD describes the goal as keeping baby necessities together in one place while creating a piece that can continue to be used as a child’s dresser.
The published overall dimensions are 51 inches wide, 22 inches deep, and 40 inches high. Treat these as the piece’s stated exterior dimensions, not as confirmation that it will fit a particular room, changing pad, or installation. Check available floor space and the full plan’s measurements before building.
