There are no verified Cyber Monday 2026 robot-vacuum deals yet. Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026, so the prices from the similarly titled 2024 roundup are historical, not current offers. This guide uses those past prices as benchmarks and identifies the current models and price thresholds worth watching when Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales begin.

U.S. shoppers: prices and stock can change at any time. The current-price signals below were observed on August 18, 2026, and should be rechecked at checkout.

Cyber Monday robot-vacuum deal status

The 2024 offers have expired or require retailer-level verification. Do not assume a product page, strikethrough price or marketplace listing still represents the original deal.

  • Live deal: the retailer confirms the sale price, stock, seller and condition.
  • Expired deal: the sale ended, even if the product page remains online.
  • Unavailable model: discontinued, sold out or replaced by a newer model.
  • Marketplace listing: the seller, warranty and condition need separate verification.
  • Price-watch candidate: a model with a useful historical price target but no confirmed current sale.

The original 2024 coverage also marked the Roomba Combo j9+ at $980 as expired, illustrating why every deal needs a retailer, seller and checked date. See the archived roundup at Engadget.

What to buy at each budget

Under $200: basic cleaning

Target a vacuum-only robot or an entry-level combo. The historical Roborock Q5 Pro at $140 and Eufy 11S Max at $130 are useful benchmarks. Expect fewer dock functions and less reliable object avoidance. The Eufy 11S Max used a remote rather than Wi-Fi, so it suits buyers who want simplicity but not room-by-room app control.

$200–$400: the value range

This is where many shoppers should start. The Roomba 105 Vac and Roomba 105 Combo have been listed near $280–$300 with AutoEmpty docks. The Combo is more versatile, but its basic mopping should not be confused with a dock that washes and dries pads.

$400–$700: better automation

The Roomba Plus 405 Combo’s observed $399.99 offer is a strong price-watch signal for shoppers who want automated mop care. Historical Shark PowerDetect prices of $550 and $700 are useful targets for buyers considering a more automated Shark system.

$700–$1,000: premium features

At this level, look for better mapping, obstacle handling and multifunction docks rather than a larger discount percentage. The Roomba Plus 575, Roomba Max 775 and historical Dyson 360 Vis Nav belong in this comparison, but the right choice depends on whether mopping and dock automation matter.

Over $1,000: justify the dock

Premium systems are worthwhile mainly when automated mop washing, drying, water handling and advanced navigation save substantial daily effort. They still require tank care, pad and brush maintenance, and occasional rescue.

Vacuum-only versus vacuum-and-mop

A vacuum-only robot is usually cheaper and easier to maintain. It is often the better choice for homes with mostly carpet, where a damp pad adds little value.

Combo robots range from machines that drag a damp pad behind them to systems that lift mops over carpet, wash and dry pads, refill clean water and collect dirty water. A robot mop is maintenance assistance, not a replacement for removing sticky spills or deep-cleaning heavily soiled floors. Dirty pads can spread grime between rooms unless they are washed or changed regularly.

Navigation and obstacle avoidance

  • Random navigation: inexpensive, but inefficient and poor at room-specific cleaning.
  • Gyroscope-based navigation: follows a more organized route but generally offers less detailed mapping.
  • Camera-based navigation: can identify visual features and objects, but performance depends on lighting and the model’s software.
  • LiDAR: typically creates detailed maps and supports room labeling and no-go zones; it does not automatically recognize every small object.
  • Structured light and other sensors: help detect nearby objects and drop-offs, but capabilities vary by SKU.
  • AI obstacle recognition: may identify cords, toys or pet waste, but “AI” is not a guarantee against collisions or accidents.

Before buying, confirm room labeling, selective cleaning, no-go zones, multi-floor maps and whether the robot can recover its map after being moved.

Pets, hair and accidents

Long human hair and shedding pets can wrap around rollers even when a model advertises anti-tangle features. Homes with dogs or cats should prioritize a reachable brush roll, readily available replacement parts and a dock whose dust capacity matches the debris load. “Up to” dust-storage periods are much shorter in homes with multiple pets.

Pet-waste avoidance is model-specific. iRobot describes visual obstacle recognition and pet-waste avoidance for the Roomba Combo j5, along with self-emptying for up to 60 days on the j5+ configuration. Do not generalize those claims to every Roomba, Shark, Roborock or Eufy model, and treat any pet-accident avoidance system as fallible.

What the dock really does

“Self-cleaning” and “hands-free” are not standardized terms. A dock may empty the dustbin, refill clean water, collect dirty water, wash pads, dry pads, clean a brush or store dust. Verify each function separately.

Manufacturers’ “up to 30” or “up to 60 days” claims depend on home size, debris volume, pets and cleaning frequency. Bagless bases avoid recurring bags but usually require more direct dust and filter maintenance. Bagged systems are cleaner to empty but add a consumable cost.

App, privacy and smart-home considerations

App-enabled robots commonly add scheduling, room selection, maps, no-go zones and voice-assistant support. They may also depend on cloud services or an account. Camera-equipped robots deserve more privacy scrutiny than simpler sensor or LiDAR systems.

A non-Wi-Fi model such as the historical Eufy 11S Max can be attractive in a privacy-conscious home or one with unreliable internet, but it will not provide remote scheduling or room targeting. Confirm whether a particular robot can complete basic cleaning without an account or internet connection.

Ownership costs that can erase a deal

  • Filters, side brushes and roller brushes;
  • Dust bags for sealed self-emptying docks;
  • Mop pads and manufacturer cleaning solution;
  • Battery replacement and specialized tools;
  • Shipping, returns and optional warranty coverage;
  • Proprietary accessories that may be difficult to source.

Before ordering, search the exact model number for replacement parts and check whether the seller is authorized. A cheap robot with scarce parts or a short software-support horizon may be poor value.

Home compatibility checklist

  • Measure thresholds and transitions between rooms.
  • Check clearance under sofas, beds and cabinets.
  • Confirm performance on dark floors, black rugs, thick rugs and high-pile carpet.
  • Keep the dock on a level surface with the manufacturer’s required clearance.
  • Allow convenient access to clean- and dirty-water tanks for multifunction docks.
  • Plan for stairs and other drop-offs.
  • Consider whether pets, bowls, scattered food or toys will block the robot.
  • Protect delicate hardwood from unsuitable pads or excessive moisture.

Retailer, seller and warranty checks

Manufacturer-direct stores provide the clearest model and warranty information, but Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and Target may offer different bundles or return policies. Compare the exact model number, dock, included accessories, condition and seller.

Do not call a listing the best deal if it is refurbished, open-box or sold by an unauthorized marketplace seller without clearly stated warranty coverage. Check the final cart price for membership discounts, coupons, shipping and tax. A displayed discount may apply only after adding the product to the cart.
