Creality advertises a maximum speed of 600 mm/s, but describes 300 mm/s as its typical printing speed. Its AI camera’s alerts and remote monitoring depend on connecting through Creality software or the Creality Cloud app.
What the Creality K1C is specified to do
Creality lists the K1C as an FDM/FFF printer using a CoreXY motion system and direct-drive extrusion. Its stated printable envelope is 220 × 220 × 250 mm; the printer itself measures 355 × 355 × 482 mm and weighs 12.4 kg net. The build volume is the maximum object envelope, not a guarantee that every design of those dimensions will fit without adjustment. Larger parts need to be redesigned, split into sections, or printed on a machine with a larger build area. Creality specifies a standard 0.4 mm nozzle, maximum nozzle temperature of 300°C, and maximum bed temperature of 100°C.

Filaments and the carbon-fiber claim
Creality lists PLA, TPU, PETG, PET, ABS, ASA, PA, and PC, along with carbon-fiber-filled variants including PLA-CF, PA-CF, and PET-CF. It describes the nozzle tip as hardened steel for wear resistance. That makes the K1C a candidate for abrasive filled filaments, but it does not mean every carbon-fiber filament will print successfully: formulations vary, and each material needs an appropriate profile and conditions. Check the filament maker’s recommendations and the current K1C guidance before printing. Creality’s material and support information is available through its K1C support page.

What “600 mm/s” means in practice
Creality advertises a maximum printing speed of 600 mm/s and maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². On the same product information, the company says, “The typical printing speed is 300mm/s.” Treat 600 mm/s as a manufacturer-stated maximum, not as a promise that every model, material, or profile will print at that rate. Print speed is only one factor in usable output: geometry, material, settings, and the quality target all matter. Creality’s figures and sample timings are its own claims; the available documentation does not establish independent K1C speed or print-quality benchmarks. Details are on the K1C product page.
Camera, alerts, and ways to send prints
The K1C product page identifies an AI camera for print monitoring and time-lapse. Creality says active alerts and remote monitoring require a connection to Creality Print or the Creality Cloud app, so do not assume those functions are available as standalone, offline features. The support center lists USB flash drive, LAN, and cloud printing. It also names Creality Print, Prusa Slicer, Ultimaker Cura, and Simplify3D as software options; consult current software and firmware documentation for compatibility and setup details.

Maintenance, reliability, and buying considerations
Creality reports “1000h + clog-free extrusion” as a Creality Lab claim. That is a manufacturer-reported figure, not independently verified evidence of service life or a guarantee of clog-free operation in ordinary use. The consulted official material does not establish independent results for print quality, reliability, noise, emissions, or long-term ownership. Creality’s product page also advises: “Please make sure the nozzle has cooled down before getting your hand on it.”

- Part size: Confirm that the 220 × 220 × 250 mm envelope accommodates your parts, including any need to split larger pieces.
- Material: Check the exact filament formulation and profile, especially for carbon-fiber-filled material; the listed material families are not a compatibility guarantee for every brand.
- Speed: Use Creality’s 300 mm/s typical figure as more useful context than the 600 mm/s maximum headline, while recognizing both are manufacturer specifications rather than an independent test result.
- Monitoring: Decide whether connecting to Creality Print or Creality Cloud for alerts and remote monitoring suits your workflow.
- Current support: Firmware changes over time. The support page reviewed for this article listed V1.1.0.27 dated March 11, 2026; confirm the current release and that it applies to your machine before updating.
- Local terms: Check current price and warranty in your region; they are not established by the specifications above.
For a construction shop, the K1C’s enclosed design and stated support for engineering and filled filaments may be relevant for prototypes, jigs, or other small components, but the specifications alone do not establish suitability for a safety-critical or load-bearing part. Confirm the design, material, and application requirements independently before relying on a printed component in service.
