The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists October 10, 2026, as the scheduled start for construction on the planned Crunch Fitness in Kingwood. The filing describes an interior remodel of an existing building—not a new-build project—and lists March 31, 2027, as the scheduled completion date. Neither date confirms actual progress or when the club will open.
What the TDLR filing says
The project, registered as Crunch Fitness- Kingwood, TX (TABS2026028962), is at 4303 Kingwood Dr Suite 200, Kingwood, TX 77339, in Harris County. Its stated scope is “Interior Remodel of existing building for fitness center.” The official page lists the status as “Project Registered.”

The filing identifies the project as privately funded, on private land for private use, and says the funds are not provided by the tenant. It lists SDI Kingwood Holdings LLC as owner, JPlus Architects Inc. as design firm, and Jay Thomas as tenant.
Where the planned club will be
Crunch’s official Kingwood location page lists the address as 4303 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339, and places the club in Kings Crossing Shopping Center. Kingwood.com’s local report describes the site as near Sprouts.

Has Crunch announced an opening date?
No opening date is confirmed in the sources reviewed. Crunch labels the location “Club Coming Soon” and says class booking is unavailable until the club opens. The March 31, 2027 date in the TDLR filing is a scheduled construction completion date only; it should not be read as a promised opening date.
