Key features

Takeoff, estimating, and field work

MeasureSquare 8 brings flooring plan measurements together with material and labor calculations for estimates and proposals. MeasureSquare Mobile supports measurement with laser devices, preparing proposals onsite, tile-texture rendering, and cloud synchronization. For takeoff, the Mobile Multi-family plan imports up to five pages of floor plans, a limit worth checking against the size of a project's drawing set.

Commercial plan analysis

The Commercial edition includes AI-powered takeoff and an AI plan analyzer. The analyzer is described as a tool for summarizing and extracting information from blueprints and for chatting with them. This is a distinct capability of the Commercial edition, rather than a feature listed for every plan.

Stone and tile workflows

Stone Commercial can import PDF, CAD, and image plans. Its listed tools include slab layout optimization, virtual dry lay, and shop drawing generation, addressing work that extends beyond measuring a floor plan.

CRM, API, and connected workflows

MeasureSquare CRM lists connections to MeasureSquare takeoff products, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Gmail, and Outlook. The Cloud API uses REST APIs to connect estimation data and synchronize takeoffs, estimates, and project information. Measure Square also describes using that API to connect the Mobile product catalog with Asana.

Cloud storage and support

MeasureSquare says its cloud technology is based on Microsoft Azure. A subscription with one license includes 5GB of job-file storage. The subscription FAQ says program updates are usually quarterly and technical support is available by phone or email.

Pricing

MeasureSquare is paid software, with a free plan and free trial also listed. The entry price is From $54/user/mo. Listed individual plans are billed per user per month:

Plan	Price	Listed use and platform
MeasureSquare Mobile Retail	54.00 USD per month	1 user; iOS and Android; in-store sales and on-site consultations
MeasureSquare 8 Retail	54.00 USD per month	1 user; Windows only; on-site residential and showroom estimates
MeasureSquare Mobile Multi-family	87.00 USD per month	1 user; iOS and Android; on-site multiarea and multifloor estimating
MeasureSquare 8 Multi-family	164.00 USD per month	1 user; Windows only; blueprint-based residential and light commercial projects
MeasureSquare 8 Commercial	197.00 USD per month	1 user; Windows only; high-volume commercial bids

The subscription FAQ says there is no contract or setup fee. It also says the current billing period is not refunded after cancellation, so cancellation does not return payment for that period.

Platforms

The listed platform coverage includes Android, iOS, web, Windows, and API access. The plan details distinguish mobile editions for iOS and Android from MeasureSquare 8 editions that are Windows only. The Cloud API is for connecting estimation and project data, rather than another listed desktop or mobile plan.

Who it's for

MeasureSquare is aimed at businesses estimating or managing work in flooring, countertops, stone, and specialty trades. Retail editions are described for showroom estimates, in-store sales, and onsite consultations; Multi-family editions address multiarea and multifloor estimates or blueprint-based residential and light commercial projects. The Commercial edition is listed for high-volume bids and includes its blueprint analysis tools. Stone Commercial's plan imports and fabrication-related tools make it relevant to stone and tile operations as well.

Contractors should match the edition to their workflow and platform needs: the mobile plans are for iOS and Android, while the listed MeasureSquare 8 plans require Windows. Teams considering Mobile Multi-family should also account for its five-page floor-plan import limit.
