Un graffio lieve sulla porta di un frigorifero in acciaio inox tradizionale può diventare meno visibile con una pulizia delicata lungo la venatura, ma non è detto che scompaia. Prima di usare detergenti, verifica la finitura e le istruzioni del modello: acciaio nero, superfici rivestite e laminati effetto inox richiedono cautele diverse.
Prima di intervenire: verifica finitura e manuale
La porta potrebbe essere in acciaio inox tradizionale, inox anti-impronta, acciaio nero oppure CleanSteel, un laminato vinilico dall’aspetto simile all’acciaio. Un prodotto adatto a una finitura non è automaticamente sicuro per le altre. Consulta il manuale del frigorifero e identifica il materiale prima di provare qualsiasi detergente.

Come trattare con cautela un graffio lieve
- Individua la venatura e consulta il manuale. Osserva le linee visibili sulla porta e verifica quali prodotti sono ammessi per quella finitura. Whirlpool avverte di pulire seguendo la venatura per evitare graffi trasversali (manuale Whirlpool); anche Bosch raccomanda di seguire la direzione della superficie (Bosch).
- Inizia con la pulizia più semplice. Usa acqua tiepida e sapone delicato con un panno morbido o una spugna non abrasiva, passandoli lungo la venatura. Asciuga con un panno morbido. Whirlpool e Bosch raccomandano metodi delicati per la cura ordinaria (manuale Whirlpool; Bosch).
- Valuta un detergente specifico soltanto se compatibile. Se il manuale lo consente e la porta è in inox tradizionale, GE cita come esempio un detergente liquido senza granuli con acido ossalico, come Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser. Applicane poco con una spugna morbida e umida, seguendo la venatura. GE precisa che il metodo può spesso ridurre l’aspetto dei graffi leggeri, non che li cancelli (GE Appliances).
- Proteggi le parti circostanti. Non stendere il detergente su guarnizioni, plastiche, loghi o comandi. Whirlpool avverte di tenere il lucidante lontano da plastica, finiture e guarnizioni; Bosch vieta il conditioner su loghi, etichette dei comandi e acciaio nero (manuale Whirlpool; Bosch).
- Fermati se la superficie cambia o il segno resta evidente. Non aumentare la pressione né passare a strumenti più aggressivi. Chiedi al produttore o a un tecnico quali opzioni siano adatte alla marca, al modello e alla finitura.
Prodotti e strumenti da evitare
Non usare pagliette d’acciaio, panni abrasivi o detergenti in polvere o liquidi abrasivi: i manuali Whirlpool li escludono per la cura dell’acciaio inox. Evita anche di strofinare trasversalmente alla venatura, perché puoi lasciare segni ulteriori (manuale Whirlpool; indicazioni Whirlpool per la cura).
Un detergente o lucidante per elettrodomestici può essere indicato per la pulizia ordinaria, ma questo non significa che ripari un graffio. La compatibilità con la finitura e il manuale del frigorifero conta più del nome commerciale del prodotto.

GE afferma che per i graffi visibili non esiste un metodo approvato per coprirli (GE Appliances). Senza i dati del frigorifero non è possibile stabilire quale ricambio o intervento sia adatto.
