UF/IFAS uses “larkspur” for delphinium, while Iowa State University Extension distinguishes the plants: “While the larkspur and delphinium are similar, they are actually different plant species.” The extension article identifies many garden delphiniums as hybrids of Delphinium × elatum and true larkspur as Consolida ambigua. Labels and common usage vary, so ask a florist or garden supplier which plant they mean.

Can you send water lily arrangements as a gift?
