The right stand for a 65-inch TV depends on the exact television’s weight and VESA pattern, the available floor or furniture space, and whether you need swivel, storage, or a particular look. The models below are manufacturer-listed options for different setups—not a ranked test.
Start with the exact TV and stand fit
Before choosing a style, find your television’s full model number, weight without its factory stand, and VESA mounting pattern: the horizontal and vertical distance between its mounting holes, usually stated in millimetres. Compare those details with the stand’s published weight limit and supported VESA patterns. A stand’s advertised screen-size range alone does not establish compatibility.
- For a tabletop base, check that its footprint sits fully on the usable furniture surface.
- For a furniture console, compare the top dimensions with the TV’s feet and leave room for any speakers or soundbar.
- For a mounted floor stand, check the VESA pattern and weight limit, then consider its footprint and the screen’s intended viewing height.
For example, FITUEYES says its Zen FT65 supports VESA patterns from 100 × 100 to 400 × 400 and a maximum load of 40 kg; it advises checking that the TV meets both limits. Check the FITUEYES Zen FT65 specifications.
Options by stand style and room need
Tabletop swivel base for shallow furniture: SANUS VuePoint FTVS1
SANUS lists the FTVS1 for TVs from 32 to 65 inches, with adjustable height and 70 degrees of total left-to-right swivel. The company describes the base as suitable for shallow furniture, but its product information does not establish a universal minimum furniture depth; check the base dimensions against your own surface. VIVO lists this model for 45- to 65-inch screens, VESA patterns from 200 × 200 through 600 × 400 mm, and a stated capacity of 77 pounds. It also has height adjustment, swivel, and integrated cable management. Check the particular TV against the mounting and weight limits; cable routing can improve appearance, but port positions and connector clearance still depend on the TV.
