“Stainless steel juicer” does not necessarily mean every part that touches your juice is metal. In the models covered here, steel may refer to the exterior, cutting disc, bowl, or blade, while other components use plastic or mesh. For a home kitchen, the Breville Juice Fountain Cold Plus BJE530 offers a wide chute and large jug; the Kuvings NJ9500 is another centrifugal option with a stainless-steel bowl and blade. For commercial use, Kuvings’ CS700 and CS700X are a separate class of slow juicers.
What should “stainless steel juicer” mean?
Treat the phrase as a clue to check materials, not as proof that the whole appliance—or every food-contact component—is stainless steel. A manufacturer may specify steel for the exterior finish, cutting disc, juicing bowl, or blade while listing other materials elsewhere. Look for a parts-specific materials description and distinguish the food-contact components from the housing.

Breville Juice Fountain Cold Plus BJE530
Choose this model if the stated 3.5-inch chute and 70 fl oz jug suit your routine and you want a stainless-steel cutting disc. Breville also lists brushed stainless-steel construction and includes a cleaning brush. Its page describes Cold Spin Technology as moving juice through the cutting disc and surrounding mesh filter; that is a product description, not independent evidence of juice temperature or nutrient retention.
Kuvings NJ9500
This is a high-speed centrifugal option whose specified steel parts are the bowl and blade, not the entire appliance: Kuvings also lists ABS and PC. The manufacturer’s stated power, speed range, warranty, dimensions, weight, and country of manufacture are specifications; they do not establish comparative extraction, noise, or longevity.

Commercial use calls for a different comparison
For frequent service or a commercial setting, household features such as a wide feed chute are not enough to establish suitability. Kuvings distinguishes its commercial and household juicers by duty cycle, stating that its commercial juicers have a 24-hour duty cycle versus 30 minutes for its household juicers. That is Kuvings’ claim about its own products; do not apply it to other brands.
Kuvings identifies the CS700 and CS700X as commercial slow juicers with stainless-steel bowls and UL EPH classification to NSF/ANSI 8. The company says CS800 has a plastic bowl and lacks that classification, as does CS600. Confirm current model availability and certification details with the manufacturer before specifying equipment for a business.

Kuvings describes the number of topsets as the main difference between the CS700 and CS700X. Check what each topset includes and whether it fits your workflow rather than assuming the model names alone indicate different steel coverage.
How to choose by materials, workflow, and maintenance
- Identify the steel parts you care about. If your priority is a steel cutting disc, the Breville page specifies one. If you want a steel bowl and blade, Kuvings specifies those for the NJ9500. For commercial slow juicers, Kuvings specifies stainless-steel bowls for the CS700 and CS700X.
- Match the juicer type to your needs. The BJE530 and NJ9500 are centrifugal/high-speed models. Kuvings’ catalog also includes vertical slow, horizontal slow, and commercial categories, so “stainless steel juicer” does not identify one uniform mechanism. See the Kuvings USA catalog.
- Consider batch size and preparation. Breville states a 3.5-inch chute and 70 fl oz jug. The NJ9500 page does not state a capacity figure, so do not infer one from its dimensions.
- Check cleaning instructions, not just included tools. Breville lists a cleaning brush, but an included brush alone does not establish that the appliance is easy to clean. Consult the manufacturer’s instructions for disassembly, cleaning, and care before buying.
- Use the warranty and duty-cycle details for the right decision. Kuvings lists a three-year limited warranty for the NJ9500. Its commercial-use guidance is specific to Kuvings models; confirm warranty coverage and operating requirements for the exact unit you plan to purchase.
- Recheck availability and total cost. Catalog prices and lineups can change. Confirm the current price, model number, included parts, and seller before ordering.
What the available specifications cannot tell you
Manufacturer material lists and product specifications can help identify construction and fit, but they do not show that one model produces more juice, retains more nutrients, runs more quietly, or lasts longer than another. No independent test or health-outcome evidence is established by the sources linked here. Compare models on verified features that matter to your use, and treat performance claims as manufacturer claims unless supported by suitable testing.
