NyxQuark portable misting fans, model hw-003
In its November 13, 2025 warning, the CPSC identified NyxQuark portable misting fans, model hw-003, because the remote controlâs coin battery can be accessed by children. The agency reported about 4,490 units. Its instruction is specific to the remote: âCPSC urges consumers to stop using the remote control immediately and dispose of them.â Read the CPSC NyxQuark warning for the affected product and current directions.

The CPSC announced a recall on September 18, 2025, for IcyBreeze Buddy portable misting fans due to overheating while charging and a fire hazard. The agency reported about 22,600 units and says the remedy is a refund. Check the CPSC IcyBreeze recall notice for product identification and remedy instructions.
