Climate and humidity

Where you need the airflow
These listings describe portable, fan-like products with features such as wheels or adjustable airflow. That can make them useful for a localized breeze, but the sources do not show that they can cool an entire room or a work area of a particular size. Choose based on where the airflow will reach, not on the word “air conditioner” in a product title.
Water, power, and convenience
Tank capacity, airflow, power draw, controls, and portability vary by listing. For example, the Costway remote model lists an 8 L tank and 75 W power draw, while the Aldi Ambiano lists a 1.45-gallon tank, wheels, and a 12-hour timer.
