Do not choose blades based on the RIDGID name or a 13-inch measurement alone. Check the model plate on your planer and confirm the replacement part in that model’s manual or official parts list. The cited documentation supports AC20502 for R4330 and R4331; it does not establish that the set fits other RIDGID models.

What should R4331 owners know about the planer?
RIDGID describes the R4331 as a 13-inch thickness planer with a three-blade cutterhead. Its published capacity is 13 inches wide by 6-1/8 inches high, and its maximum depth of cut is 1/8 inch. Those are planer specifications, not measures of replacement-knife performance. Consult the operator’s manual linked from RIDGID’s product page for the correct blade-change procedure for your tool.
Where can you buy RIDGID AC20502 blades?
RIDGID’s product listing names Home Depot as the exclusive seller. Retail stock and purchase availability can change, so check the listing for current status. Verify the planer model before buying.

Is AC20502 the best planer knife set?
It is the manufacturer-identified replacement set for the R4330 and R4331, but the available sources do not provide an independent comparison or hands-on test that would support a broader “best” ranking. For these two models, match the documented part number and follow the tool-specific manual. For another RIDGID planer, use its own official parts documentation rather than assuming AC20502 will fit.
