The best kitchen bag holder depends on what you need it to do: hang an open bag for scraps, store boxed trash liners, or dispense recycling bags. Those are different products, and cabinet-door fit can rule out an otherwise useful option. Measure your door and check the holder’s stated bag format and clearances before choosing.
Choose by the job, not just the name

Check kitchen fit before ordering
Measure the door and the space around it, then compare those measurements with the specific product page. A holder can interfere with a handle or hinge, prevent the door from closing, or collide with the sink or adjacent cabinet.

- Measure door thickness and usable width; exclude handles and hinges where the manufacturer instructs.
- Check clearance above the door and the path the door follows as it opens and closes.
- Look for interference with the sink front, faucet area, nearby drawers, handles, or other cabinet doors.
- Confirm whether the product hangs over the door, attaches with hardware, or requires a particular door configuration.
