- Plan for water and cleaning. Check reservoir size, refill indicators, drains and removable parts. Nemco lists a drain and removable doors and racks; Nordic Ware specifies top-rack dishwasher care, while Sharper Image recommends hand washing after disassembly.
- Use timing figures only with their conditions. Sharper Image’s 15–20 minutes varies by quantity; Bartscher’s approximate 45 minutes assumes 60°C starting water and a 9.2-liter fill. These are not equivalent tests.
