Best Buy’s 2025 Fourth of July sale is over. The promotion was already live by June 30, 2025, and included notable discounts on major appliances, TVs, laptops, streaming devices, smart-home products and more. The prices in this article are historical snapshots from that sale—not deals available today.
The strongest documented offers were in major appliances, where Best Buy advertised savings of up to 50% and as much as $1,600 off select products, followed by selected TVs with discounts of up to $800 and laptops with savings of up to $500. The promotion also included lower-priced products such as the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K at $24.99 and Blink Outdoor 4 at $39.99.
As of August 12, 2026, current Best Buy pages show newer 2026 promotions and inventory. Do not combine those listings with the 2025 sale record. If this page is being refreshed for a new shopping event, every price and the headline year should be rechecked against a live product page.

What Best Buy’s 2025 Fourth of July sale included
A contemporaneous June 30, 2025 deal roundup described a broad Best Buy promotion covering TVs, appliances, Apple devices, laptops, headphones, smart-home equipment, gaming, kitchen products, outdoor products, smartwatches, tablets and vacuums.
| Category | Advertised 2025 sale claim | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Major appliances | Up to 50% off; savings as high as $1,600 | Selected refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges and microwaves were included. Additional 20% discounts, laundry-bundle savings and free installation applied only to qualifying products. |
| TVs | Up to $800 off | The claim covered selected QLED and 4K televisions, not every TV on the site. |
| Laptops | Up to $500 off | The maximum represented selected models and should not be treated as a typical laptop discount. |
| Headphones | From $9.99 | The roundup specifically named Sony, JBL and Beats products. |
| Kitchen appliances | From $49.99 | Coffee makers and air fryers were among the examples. |
| Outdoor products | Up to $200 off | Grills, heating products and fire pits were included in the category claim. |
| Smartwatches | Up to $140 off | Selected Samsung, Garmin and Apple models were named. |
| Tablets | From $129 | The sale included iPads and Fire tablets, with model and storage differences affecting price. |
| Vacuums | From $99.99 | The documented example was Shark cleaning equipment. |
| Gaming | Consoles and games from $19.99 | The starting price applied to selected games or products, not necessarily consoles. |
| Smart home | Selected cameras and streaming products were discounted | The clearest documented examples were the Fire TV Stick 4K and Blink Outdoor 4. |
These figures are best understood as the sale’s advertised range. A $1,600 maximum appliance saving, for example, does not mean that an ordinary refrigerator or washer was $1,600 cheaper. The actual discount depended on the model, configuration, inventory and offer terms.
The most notable documented TV deals
Televisions were one of the most useful parts of the 2025 promotion because the roundup preserved specific models and prices. Those prices are no longer current, but they provide a dated record of the kinds of products Best Buy featured.
- LG 65-inch C4 OLED — $1,299.99. TechRadar identified this as a premium standout and reported it as a record-low price at the time.
- Toshiba C350 75-inch 4K Fire TV — $399.99, reduced from $649.99. This was the large-screen budget-oriented example in the roundup.
- Samsung 77-inch S90D OLED — $1,999.99, reduced from $2,499.99. This represented a substantial discount on a much larger premium OLED television.
The right comparison was not simply the percentage reduction. Shoppers also needed to compare screen size, panel technology, processing, gaming features, ports, warranty coverage and the model’s release generation. A low price on an older model may be worthwhile, but it should not automatically be compared with a newer television as though the specifications were identical.
LG’s separate July 2025 promotion
LG also issued an official July 1, 2025 promotional release covering its own Independence Day offers. It said selected 2025 LG OLED and QNED televisions were promoted at up to 52% off through July 6, with selected OLED C5 and G5 models starting at $1,199 and an 83-inch B5 listed at $4,299.
Those figures belong to LG’s manufacturer promotion. They should not be presented as Best Buy prices unless a dated Best Buy product listing independently confirms the same model and price. This distinction matters because manufacturers can run simultaneous promotions through several retailers with different inventory and terms.

Major appliances were the sale’s strongest category
The 2025 Best Buy promotion placed particularly strong emphasis on major appliances. The documented categories included refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ranges and microwaves. Best Buy advertised savings of up to 50%, with some products offering as much as $1,600 in savings. It also promoted an additional 20% off select appliances, laundry-bundle discounts and free installation on qualifying products.
For a kitchen or laundry-room replacement, the headline product discount was only part of the calculation. Before ordering, a buyer needed to confirm:
- the exact width, depth and height of the replacement unit;
- door-swing clearance, ventilation and any required surrounding space;
- whether delivery reached the property and the desired room;
- whether installation was included for that specific model;
- whether old-appliance haul-away was available and separately priced;
- whether water, gas, electrical or vent connections required additional work; and
- whether the delivery date matched the renovation or move-in schedule.
A “free installation” label applied only to select products and services. It should never be assumed to cover unusual hookups, cabinetry changes, electrical upgrades, gas work, structural modifications or every property condition. For a remodel, confirm the scope with the retailer and the relevant licensed trade before treating the advertised price as the project’s total cost.
LG appliance examples from the same shopping period
LG’s official release illustrates the type of manufacturer offer available around the holiday, but these are not automatically Best Buy deals. It listed a counter-depth French-door refrigerator at $1,999, an LG WashCombo all-in-one at $1,999 after a reported $1,300 reduction, and an LG WashTower at $1,999 after a reported $900 reduction. LG also described bundle rebates ranging from $100 to $1,000 for eligible appliances, with some offer windows extending beyond the holiday weekend.
Recommended Free Tools
These manufacturer rebates and bundle programs could have different eligibility rules and dates from Best Buy’s retail promotion. A buyer would need to verify whether a rebate was instant, submitted after purchase, limited to a particular bundle or available through the retailer being used.
Laptop and computing deals
Best Buy advertised laptop savings of up to $500 during the 2025 sale. That was a category maximum rather than a blanket discount, so the best value depended on the laptop’s processor, memory, storage, display, battery, operating system and intended workload.

LG’s release separately documented a promotion on an LG gram 16-inch laptop at $1,399, described as $800 below MSRP. The listed configuration included an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 32GB of memory, and LG said eligible LG gram laptops could receive discounts through July 13, 2025. Again, this was manufacturer-level evidence and should not be labeled a Best Buy price without an independent dated retailer listing.
For a laptop purchase during a major sale, the most useful checks were configuration-specific. Two laptops with the same brand name may have different processors, RAM, storage or screen resolutions. A low “starting at” price may describe a configuration that is unsuitable for video editing, demanding software, gaming or large construction and design files. Conversely, paying for specifications that will never be used can erase the value of the discount.
Streaming and smart-home deals
The clearest low-cost entertainment deal in the documented roundup was the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K at $24.99, reduced from $49.99. The source described it as a 4K streaming device with access to major apps and Alexa voice controls. That made it a practical upgrade for an older compatible TV that lacked modern streaming features, although the original sale price should not be used as a current buying target.
If you are comparing a current listing for the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, check the exact generation, included remote, television compatibility, available Wi-Fi connection and today’s price. A current product page—not the 2025 figure above—should determine whether it is still a good value.
The roundup also listed the Blink Outdoor 4 security camera at $39.99, reduced from $79.99. The documented features included two-way audio, Alexa compatibility and a claimed battery life of up to two years. Battery performance varies with usage, recording settings, signal conditions and temperature, so the “up to” battery claim should be treated as a manufacturer-style maximum rather than a guaranteed service interval.
For an outdoor camera, shoppers should also check mounting location, Wi-Fi range, weather exposure, app requirements, storage or subscription terms and local privacy rules. Those practical considerations can matter more than the initial hardware discount.
Other sale categories worth noting
Headphones and personal electronics
Selected Sony, JBL and Beats headphones were advertised from $9.99. At that price point, buyers should confirm whether the product is wired or wireless, whether it is new or clearance inventory, and whether it includes the noise cancellation, microphone quality, battery life or multipoint connectivity they need. The lowest advertised price likely represented only selected models.

Tablets and smartwatches
iPads and Fire tablets were listed from $129, while selected Samsung, Garmin and Apple smartwatches were advertised at up to $140 off. Storage, cellular connectivity, generation, band size and compatibility with the buyer’s phone can substantially change the value of either category.
Kitchen and cleaning equipment
Coffee makers and air fryers were listed from $49.99, and Shark vacuum products from $99.99. These “from” prices were entry points, not evidence that premium machines or complete accessory packages reached the same price. Check included baskets, filters, attachments, replacement-part costs and return conditions before comparing two apparently similar products.
Outdoor and gaming products
Best Buy advertised up to $200 off selected grills, heating products and fire pits. Gaming products, including consoles and games, were listed from $19.99. Outdoor equipment may involve delivery, assembly, fuel or electrical requirements, while console bundles can differ in included controllers, games and storage. The product-specific listing was essential.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow to use this 2025 deal record without mistaking it for a live sale
- Confirm the event year. The relevant promotion was Best Buy’s 2025 Fourth of July sale, which was already live by June 30, 2025. A page carrying a 2026 Fourth of July or Black Friday-in-July label belongs to a different event.
- Compare against a current price, not just the old list price. The “was” price in a historical roundup does not establish today’s market value. Check the current product page and comparable models from other retailers.
- Match the exact model number. TV size, storage, processor, appliance finish and bundled accessories can create multiple versions of what appears to be the same product.
- Calculate the delivered and installed cost. For appliances and large TVs, include delivery, installation, haul-away, required accessories and any work needed to make the property ready.
- Check local stock and delivery windows. Large products may have different availability by ZIP code, and the nearest store’s inventory does not necessarily represent stock for delivery.
- Review eligibility rules. Extra category discounts, bundle savings, rebates, membership pricing and financing may each have separate conditions. Do not assume that multiple offers stack.
- Separate retailer promotions from manufacturer promotions. LG’s July 2025 offers were useful context, but they were not proof of Best Buy pricing. The same rule applies to any future manufacturer announcement.
- Replace expired figures before publishing a live deal page. A refreshed article needs a new event date, new product-page checks and a revised headline. Historical prices should remain labeled as historical.
What current Best Buy pages do—and do not—prove
Best Buy’s currently surfaced Top Deals page and category search results contain newer 2026 promotional labels and inventory. They can show what Best Buy is merchandising now, but they cannot retroactively prove that a 2025 model or price was part of the 2025 Fourth of July sale.
The same caution applies to current laptop search results, which show 2026 Black Friday-in-July labels and current examples such as HP OmniBook and Dell laptops. Those listings must not be backfilled into a 2025 roundup without a dated source tying the exact product and price to that event.
Source and price methodology
The historical Best Buy deal record here is based primarily on the contemporary TechRadar roundup updated June 30, 2025. Manufacturer-specific LG figures come from LG’s official July 2025 promotional release. Best Buy’s current pages are cited only to explain why newer inventory should not be mixed with the 2025 record.

As a result, this article can accurately describe the documented sale and its representative examples, but it cannot establish that every model in a category received the maximum advertised discount.

Is the Best Buy 4th of July sale from 2025 still live?
No. The 2025 promotion has ended. It was already live by June 30, 2025, and the prices in this article are historical. Current Best Buy pages may show 2026 promotions, which are separate events.
What were the best documented Best Buy deals in July 2025?
The strongest documented categories were major appliances, TVs and laptops. Specific examples included the LG 65-inch C4 OLED at $1,299.99, the Toshiba 75-inch C350 4K Fire TV at $399.99, the Samsung 77-inch S90D OLED at $1,999.99, and laptop savings of up to $500. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and Blink Outdoor 4 were the clearest low-cost smart-home examples.
Did every appliance receive 50% off during the 2025 sale?
No. “Up to 50% off” described the maximum advertised saving on selected products. Eligibility for additional discounts, laundry bundles, free installation and savings as high as $1,600 varied by model and location.
Were LG’s 2025 Fourth of July prices Best Buy prices?
Not necessarily. LG published its own manufacturer promotion with selected OLED, QNED, appliance and gram laptop offers. Those figures should be attributed to LG unless a dated Best Buy listing independently confirms the same product and price.

Bottom line: Best Buy’s 2025 Fourth of July event was especially notable for major appliances, selected OLED and large-screen TVs, and laptop discounts. It also included inexpensive streaming and smart-home devices. But the sale is no longer current, and “up to” or “from” claims never applied to every product. Use the documented prices as historical context only; for a live shopping page, verify the event year, exact model, current price, delivery, installation, haul-away and regional stock before publishing or buying.
