The clearest documented conventional-electric options in Bosch’s Q4 2025 list are two 30-inch slide-in ranges: the 800 Series HEI8056U and the 100 Series HEF1050MU. They differ in oven capacity and cooking modes, but neither can be called objectively best without comparative testing. Your choice also depends on whether the range fits your opening and whether your electrical supply meets the model’s installation requirements.
What “electric” means in Bosch’s range lineup
Bosch separates conventional electric and induction ranges in its product catalog. A conventional radiant range heats the glass cooktop surface, while induction heats compatible cookware using electromagnetic energy. Both use electricity, but they are not interchangeable technologies; check the listing and installation documentation for the exact model rather than relying on the broad word “electric.” See Bosch’s US range catalog and its electric range category.
Format is a separate decision. Bosch describes slide-in and freestanding ranges as its two range types. A slide-in is intended to give a built-in look, while a freestanding design is a distinct installation style. The available model information below documents two conventional electric slide-in ranges; Bosch also sells induction ranges, including slide-in and freestanding models.

These figures and feature descriptions come from Bosch’s Q4 2025 National Price List. Bosch’s catalog showed the HEI8056U out of stock when accessed; stock status is dynamic and should be checked directly.
When the HEI8056U may suit you
Consider the HEI8056U if the 800 Series feature set matters to you—particularly its listed convection ring, warming drawer, adjustable self-clean, or 11 specialized modes. Its listed oven capacity is smaller than the HEF1050MU’s, so compare usable space against the dishes you cook rather than assuming the higher series means a larger oven.

If you are open to induction
The HII8057U is an 800 Series, 30-inch induction slide-in, not a conventional radiant electric model. The HIS8055U is an 800 Series induction freestanding range; Bosch lists its dimensions as 36 × 29 15/16 × 24 15/16 inches. These models can matter if induction is acceptable, but they should not be treated as direct conventional-electric alternatives. Bosch lists induction separately in its range lineup and identifies the HIS8055U as an induction freestanding range on its product page.

How to choose between the documented models
There is no independent controlled comparison establishing one Bosch electric range as the overall best. Match the documented features to your kitchen and cooking needs, then confirm any specifications not established by the Q4 2025 list.
- Cooktop technology: Decide between radiant electric and induction first; do not compare an induction listing as if it were a radiant model.
- Format and fit: Choose slide-in or freestanding, then check the installation guide’s cutout, clearances, and dimensions. A shared nominal width does not establish that a range will fit an existing opening.
- Oven capacity: The HEF1050MU has the larger stated capacity. Think about the size and number of dishes you regularly cook.
- Modes and features: Compare the listed specialized modes, cleaning options, convection features, and drawer type. Do not assume that a feature on one model is present on another.
- Installation requirements: Confirm the circuit and local code requirements for the specific range before purchase.
- Price, stock, and support: Check current official or retailer listings for price and availability, and verify warranty and service terms for your location. Bosch catalog prices and stock states can change.
Check fit and electrical readiness before ordering
Bosch’s Q4 2025 price list says electric slide-in ranges require a 40 A or 50 A electrical supply and advises checking local code requirements. Treat that as general guidance for the listed product category, not proof that a particular existing circuit is suitable. Verify the installation instructions for the exact model and have the circuit checked against local requirements.
- Identify the exact model and cooktop type. Confirm whether it is radiant electric or induction, and whether it is slide-in or freestanding.
- Compare the installation guide with the space. Check opening dimensions, clearances, and other specified installation conditions—not just the range’s nominal width.
- Confirm the electrical supply. Have a qualified professional verify the existing circuit, required supply, and applicable local code before committing to the appliance.
- Plan for conversion work if needed. Replacing a gas range with an electric model, or changing circuit requirements, may involve additional electrical work. Ask an installer to assess the job rather than assuming the old connection will work.
- Verify delivery and installation service. Bosch product pages describe services such as delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, debris removal, and installation for select categories, but service availability is not guaranteed for every product or location. Confirm what is included for your order.
What the available Bosch specifications do—and do not—establish
The manufacturer documentation gives useful distinctions in capacity, cooking modes, and selected features for HEI8056U and HEF1050MU. It does not establish which range cooks more evenly, heats faster, lasts longer, or offers better value in real-world use. Nor does a Q4 2025 list provide a current retail quote or guarantee current stock. Use the documented specifications to narrow the choice, then verify current model details, price, availability, warranty, and service terms before ordering.
