For a bladeless tower fan with published Quiet Mode figures, the Dyson Cool AM07 is the clearest option in the available evidence. Dyson lists 38 dBA in Quiet Mode and 56 dBA at maximum, but those are manufacturer specifications—not independent test results. Dreo’s UK Tower Fan 508S is another feature-rich option to investigate, though its cited UK listing is sold out. Neither listing supports a fair, measured verdict on which fan is quieter or moves more air.
“Bladeless” describes the visible outlet, not an absence of moving parts: Dyson says the AM07 uses an internal impeller to project air through its loop. These are fans for moving air, not air conditioners; they should not be expected to lower the room’s temperature.
Which bladeless fans are worth comparing?
The two models with useful product information here are the Dyson Cool AM07 and the Dreo Tower Fan 508S. The specifications below come from their respective UK product listings and are not directly comparable test results.

How should you compare noise and airflow?
Keep noise figures tied to their settings
Dyson distinguishes between Quiet Mode and maximum operation; Dreo gives a range. The listings do not establish that these figures were measured at the same distance, under the same conditions, or at equivalent airflow. Treat them as each manufacturer’s published information, not a ranking. If sleeping or working nearby is your priority, check the precise model’s available modes and return policy, and assess it at the setting you expect to use.
Do not read airflow figures as a head-to-head result
Dyson publishes a maximum airflow figure, while the Dreo listing gives air-velocity information. These are not a shared comparative test, and neither listing shows how much either fan will change the temperature in a particular room. Choose based on your space and intended use, and avoid treating a maximum-setting specification as a guarantee of comfort at quieter settings.

Which model’s features fit your space?
Dyson Cool AM07
The AM07’s 10 airflow settings, remote, up-to-70-degree oscillation and sleep timer offer straightforward adjustments from across the room. Dyson describes it as easy to clean and provides model-specific support and manual links. Its UK product page lists a two-year fan warranty; warranty coverage should be checked for the country where you plan to buy.

Clean according to the model’s guidance
For the AM07, Dyson’s official support guidance says: “Just use a dry or damp cloth to wipe the loop clean – no need for any detergents or polishes.” Follow the manual for other surfaces and maintenance; do not assume cleaning instructions transfer between models. Dyson AM07 support.
