Ancona’s freestanding range lineup includes 30-, 36- and 48-inch models in gas and dual-fuel configurations. The right choice depends first on the space and utilities available in your kitchen, then on how many burners and how much oven capacity you need. The models below are catalog examples, not independently tested or ranked picks.
How to choose an Ancona range for your kitchen
Start with width and installation fit
Ancona lists freestanding ranges in 30-, 36- and 48-inch widths. Measure the opening and verify clearances against the exact model’s manual; a nominal width alone does not establish that a range will fit. Also check delivery access, ventilation, anti-tip requirements and local installation rules with a qualified installer. Ancona’s range catalog shows the listed width and configuration options.

Match the fuel configuration to your utilities
Gas models need a compatible gas supply, while dual-fuel models combine gas cooking with an electric oven. Do not assume that a particular electrical figure applies across the lineup. Ancona lists the 36-inch AN-2213 gas model at 120V, 3.5kW, 14.8A and 60Hz; those are figures for that product listing and should be checked against its manual and the version sold in your market. A Home Depot Canada listing for a 36-inch electric model gives different figures—240V, 12kW, 48.75A and 60Hz—illustrating why the exact model and local service requirements matter. Consider burner layout and oven arrangement
Burner count is not the only useful distinction. Ancona’s listed choices range from four burners on a 30-inch model to eight burners on 48-inch double-oven models. A double oven can let you cook at different temperatures in separate cavities; check the exact model’s capacity and dimensions to determine whether that arrangement suits the cookware and dishes you use.

Which configuration fits different cooking needs?
- For a narrower kitchen: The listed 30-inch AN-2230SS has four burners and a 4.2 cu. ft. convection oven. Confirm that its opening and clearance requirements work in your kitchen.
- For a 36-inch footprint with more burner space: The catalog lists the six-burner AN-2236SS with a 5.2 cu. ft. convection oven. The five-burner AN-2213 is another 36-inch gas option, with a 3.8 cu. ft. oven and published burner ratings.
- For a wide range and two oven cavities: The 48-inch AN-2248SS gas and AN-2348SS dual-fuel listings each describe eight burners and double ovens, with a listed capacity of 6.7 cu. ft. The dual-fuel version is the configuration to examine if you want a gas cooktop and electric oven, subject to the model’s installation requirements.
Installation and purchase checks
- Identify the exact SKU and market version. Confirm model suffix, finish, included accessories and specifications with the seller and manufacturer listing; similar model names do not guarantee identical details.
- Read the model manual before committing to the installation. Verify rough opening, clearances, gas type and supply, electrical service, ventilation and anti-tip requirements. Have a qualified installer confirm local code compliance.
- Check conversion and installation responsibilities. The AN-2213 listing says an LP conversion kit is included, but verify whether the kit and any installation work apply to your market and purchase. Do not assume installation is included.
- Confirm delivery and service coverage. Check that the range can be delivered through the access route and that authorized service is available where you live.
- Read the warranty for the exact model and seller. Home Depot Canada’s cited listings state a 12-month limited warranty from original purchase. That is retailer- and listing-specific information, not a blanket warranty for every Ancona range or country. Review the current terms for the exact SKU.
Retailer availability and terms can change. The cited 36-inch Home Depot Canada listings cover gas and electric models; they establish Canadian listings, not availability in other countries. See the specific retailer pages for gas and electric configurations, and confirm current stock, delivery and warranty details directly.

Capacity, burner ratings, oven layout and utility requirements help narrow a range to one that can fit and serve your cooking setup. They do not establish cooking performance or long-term reliability. The cited product and catalog pages do not provide independent comparative cooking tests or reliability results, so there is no evidence here to rank one Ancona model as the best-performing or most reliable. Treat the models as configuration choices and compare the exact requirements and terms for the version sold in your area.
