That is different from a rotisserie spit, which turns food mounted on a rod, and from a standard drawer basket, which does not rotate. The models below are documented examples—not independently tested winners—and availability and included parts can vary by market.
What “rotating basket” means in an air fryer
A rotating basket or drum turns food inside an oven-style air fryer as it cooks. A rotisserie spit turns food secured on a rod instead; some ovens offer both accessories. A conventional drawer air fryer has a stationary basket, so its basket does not rotate automatically.
For this specific feature, the clearest evidence is an official specification that names a rotating basket or rotating frying basket. Do not assume that a product has one just because its name includes “rotisserie.”

These are shortlist candidates based on manufacturer descriptions, not a ranking. No comparable independent cooking test establishes which one cooks most evenly, quickly, or reliably.

Breville’s UK page lists air frying, rotisserie roasting, baking, and dehydrating, plus a 3.2 L mesh basket, rotisserie spit, and handling fork. It states a 12-month warranty for that UK-market product page. Breville describes the functions as: “Air fry, rotisserie roast, bake and dehydrate family favourites with the versatile Breville Halo Rotisserie Air Fryer Oven.” Breville UK product page.
This is a related oven-style alternative, not a confirmed rotating-basket pick: the cited page does not state that its mesh basket rotates automatically. Its 3.2 L figure is the mesh-basket capacity, not the whole oven’s capacity.

How to choose the right rotating-basket air fryer
1. Confirm the mechanism
Read the manufacturer’s feature list and included-accessories section. Look for “rotating basket” or “rotating frying basket” if you want food to tumble. A rotisserie spit alone does not meet that requirement. If the listing is unclear, ask the seller to confirm the exact included part for the model number you intend to buy.
2. Compare capacity and dimensions carefully
Capacity labels may describe the oven or a removable basket, and those measurements are not interchangeable. Taurus lists 12 L for the AFO1701DX oven; Hamilton Beach lists 11 L for its oven; Breville specifies a 3.2 L mesh basket. Check basket dimensions against the food you plan to cook, as well as the appliance’s external dimensions against your available counter space.

3. Check exactly what comes in the box
Confirm whether the local package includes the rotating basket, a handle, spit, fork, racks, trays, and drip tray. Accessory bundles can differ between regional listings, even when product names are similar.
4. Separate advertised functions from proven results
Manufacturers may list several functions, such as air frying, roasting, baking, or dehydrating. Those are advertised modes; they do not establish how evenly or quickly a particular model cooks. Choose based on the functions you will use, and treat performance claims as unverified unless they come with a clearly described test.

Check which components are removable and follow the model’s cleaning instructions. Before buying, look for replacement parts for the exact model. A replacement basket should not be assumed to fit across brands—or even across similar models—unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility.

6. Verify regional fit and ownership details
Before ordering, confirm external dimensions, electrical requirements, warranty jurisdiction, current local availability, and price. Catalogs and product pages may describe a model or bundle without establishing that it is currently stocked where you live.

It does on a model designed with a powered rotating-basket mechanism, but the phrase “rotisserie” by itself is not enough to establish that feature. Taurus’s catalog and Hamilton Beach’s product document explicitly identify a rotating basket; the Breville UK page describes a mesh basket and a rotisserie spit but does not say that the basket rotates. For any specific listing, verify that the rotating food basket is included and intended to turn during cooking.
