The Hamilton Beach 70450 is another 8-cup option with a different listed motor rating and tool set. Cuisinart’s Elemental 8-Cup is a third model family, but its exact regional package should be checked before buying. Capacity is only a starting point: attachments, replacement-part compatibility and the exact listing matter too.

Manufacturer specifications describe what each company lists, not a shared performance test. In particular, wattage alone does not establish how quickly or evenly a processor handles a particular food. The figures above are not directly comparable test results.
Which model suits your prep?
Choose Hamilton Beach 70743 if the scraper is useful
The 70743 is the most clearly specified choice here for cooks who want a scraper built into the bowl. Hamilton Beach lists an 8-cup bowl, pour spout, two speeds plus pulse, 450 W motor, S-blade and reversible slicing/shredding disc. The company describes it for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing and pureeing. Those are manufacturer-described functions, not independent findings about results.
Hamilton Beach lists a one-year limited warranty and replacement parts including the chop/mix blade, pusher, scraper, disc, bowl and lid. Check that any replacement is identified for model 70743 before ordering.

Choose Hamilton Beach 70450 if its simpler listed tool set fits
The 70450 also has an 8-cup capacity and two speeds plus pulse, but Hamilton Beach lists a 300 W motor and a stainless-steel chopping blade rather than the 70743’s explicitly listed S-blade and bowl scraper. It also includes a reversible slicing/shredding disc. The company describes chopping, slicing, shredding and pureeing and lists removable parts as dishwasher-safe.
Replacement pushers, discs, bowls, lids and S-blades are listed for this model. Match parts to 70450 rather than assuming that an 8-cup bowl or similarly shaped attachment fits another processor.

Consider Cuisinart Elemental 8-Cup only after checking the exact listing
Cuisinart Canada lists an Elemental 8-Cup Food Processor, and a 2025 instruction-booklet result identifies an 8-cup (1.9 L) work bowl and package contents. Tom’s Guide reported a 350 W specification for the Cuisinart Elemental 8 Cup in its May 15, 2026 comparison. The available details do not establish that every regional listing has the same SKU, accessories, parts or current status, so verify those particulars on the product listing and manual for your market.
What an 8-cup capacity does—and does not—tell you
An 8-cup label helps distinguish these compact-capacity processors from larger-bowl machines, but it does not tell you what tools come in the box, how food enters the bowl, how much room the appliance occupies, or what replacement parts will fit. The available product information does not give a common set of dimensions, weights or feed-chute measurements for these models, so it cannot support a footprint or portability ranking.

Cleaning, operating guidance and parts
Hamilton Beach says removable blades, bowl, lid and scraper for the 70743 are dishwasher-safe; for the 70450, it says removable parts are dishwasher-safe. Follow the instructions for the exact model, since care guidance and safe operation can differ.
Rank #4
- Built-in bowl scraper saves time. Quickly process ingredients without stopping to use a spatula. Simply move the scraper from side-to-side to scrape the bowl while the food processor is running or the power is off — no need to remove the lid.
- Slice, shred, chop, mix and puree with 2 versatile attachments. The Hamilton Beach food processor gives you 5 processing functions and includes a stainless steel slicing/shredding disc and chopping/pureeing blade so you can tackle every job with ease.
- Powerful 450 watt motor. Make healthy salads, homemade salsa, hearty acai bowls and more. The 450 watt motor easily powers through the toughest ingredients, so you can spend less time processing and more time enjoying.
- Precise control with 2 speeds plus pulse. The low and high speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for a variety of recipes. Use the high speed when you need more power and select the low speed for processing or mixing delicate foods.
- 10 cup bowl capacity. The generous 10 cup bowl fits large volumes of food all at once, and the large feed chute saves you time by reducing the need to pre-cut food before processing or using as a vegetable chopper.
For the 70450, Hamilton Beach advises against processing non-food items, extremely hard foods such as ice or whole nutmeg, and frozen foods unless the manual permits them. Consult the current Use & Care instructions for operating guidance. The manufacturer lists replacement parts for both Hamilton Beach models, but compatibility is model-specific: identify the model number on the appliance or its documentation and confirm the replacement part is listed for it.

The manufacturer pages document specifications, included accessories, described functions and care information; they do not provide a common test of the three machines. Tom’s Guide says its comparison tested food processors and describes checking leakage, operating noise, cleanup and accessory performance. A practical buying checklist
- Confirm the exact model number, not just the 8-cup capacity.
- Check which chopping blade and slicing/shredding disc are included.
- Decide whether a bowl scraper, pour spout or pulse control is important for your usual prep.
- Verify dimensions and storage space on the specific listing; a shared capacity does not establish a shared footprint.
- Read the model-specific care and operating instructions, especially for hard or frozen ingredients.
- For replacement parts, match the model number and the exact part description.
- Compare current price and availability directly with retailers; neither is established by the product specifications summarized here.
