Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer’s Brooklyn Heights townhouse sold for a reported $11 million in December 2025. The $14 million figure was its initial asking price in March 2025—not its sale price—and the home’s sale is not established as a result of the couple’s divorce.

What happened to Amy Schumer’s $14 million home?

The property at 19 Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights was listed for $14 million in March 2025, reduced to $12.75 million in July, and reported sold for $11 million in December 2025. The Real Deal reported the sale price based on public records. The Real Deal reported the closing; Realtor.com covered the listing and price changes.

Transaction stage Reported price When
Purchase $12.25 million 2022, per Realtor.com
Initial asking price $14 million March 2025, per Realtor.com
Reduced asking price $12.75 million July 2025, after a $1.25 million reduction, per Realtor.com
Reported sale price $11 million December 2025, per The Real Deal, citing public records

Why were they selling?

Realtor.com reported that Schumer and Fischer planned to move back to Manhattan to be nearer their son’s school and avoid the commute. Schumer described the daily trip as “45 minutes to take our son to school every day.” That public explanation provides context for the move, but does not establish every reason for the sale.

The listing predates the couple’s later divorce announcement. The available reports establish the listing, price changes and sale, but do not show that divorce caused the decision to sell.

What was the house like?

The four-story, five-bedroom townhouse at 19 Cranberry Street was built in 1829, according to The Real Deal. Realtor.com described it as roughly 5,500 square feet. The home is also associated with the 1987 film Moonstruck. Schumer called it “a home that is just ready for more people” while discussing its size, Realtor.com reported.

What does the sale price say about the transaction?

The reported $11 million sale price is $1.25 million below the reported $12.25 million purchase price in 2022. That is a nominal comparison of purchase and sale prices only; it does not account for transaction expenses, taxes, carrying costs, renovations, or other adjustments. The listing’s $14 million and $12.75 million figures were asking prices, not completed sale prices.
