The reported offers span a basic cool-mist unit, a larger app-controlled humidifier and a combination humidifier, purifier and fan. The 47% headline applies to the Dyson PH03 event offer—not to every humidifier in the roundup.

Amazon’s October event coverage advertised up to 47% off the Dyson PH03. Amazon announced the October 6–7 event as a limited-time sale with offers available while supplies last. Bob Vila’s October 9 prices are a separate, later snapshot; listings can change, sell out or return to regular pricing.
How to choose among the offers
For a home, the useful question is not simply which listing has the largest percentage discount. Consider the work the humidifier will do and the upkeep it adds.

Tank size and refilling
The DREO and Levoit models in the roundup have 3-liter and 6-liter tanks, respectively. A larger tank can mean fewer refills, but it also means handling more water when filling and cleaning. Choose a size you can comfortably lift, refill and maintain.
Runtime and controls
The roundup reports up to 30 hours in sleep mode for the DREO and up to 60 hours for the Levoit, with the latter dependent on mist setting. Treat these as listed maximums, not a guarantee of runtime in every room or operating mode. The Levoit’s app and target-humidity setting may suit someone who wants remote adjustment; simpler controls may be enough if you prefer to set the unit manually.

Mist and added functions
The DREO 3L is described as a cool-mist humidifier. The Dyson combines humidification with filtration and a fan, so it serves a different purpose from a standalone humidifier. Consider whether those additional functions are useful in your room before paying more for them. The roundup also mentions app-controlled DREO and Levoit models and evaporative Blueair options, but does not provide enough model-specific detail to compare those Blueair products.

The roundup does not establish comparable figures for these details across the three models, so its prices and feature descriptions alone cannot determine which will work best in a particular room.

Keep indoor humidity under control
A humidifier adds moisture to indoor air, so use a hygrometer to check the room before increasing output. The Bob Vila roundup reports EPA guidance to maintain indoor relative humidity between 30% and 50%; this range is attributed here to the roundup, not presented as a direct citation to EPA guidance.
Refilling and cleaning are part of owning a humidifier, not optional extras. Follow the model’s own care instructions and take account of how often you are willing to empty, refill and clean its tank. DREO’s official catalog shows a wider range of tank capacities and cool- and warm-mist models; its 713S 6L product page describes app tracking and selectable humidity modes. Manufacturer specifications describe the maker’s claims, not independent test results.
