How the reported liner repair works
According to Hortidaily’s October 8, 2026 report, the liner cannot be glued; damage is repaired using hot-air welding at approximately 400°C (752°F). The temperature is the report’s approximate figure, not a complete set of operating instructions.

The report does not specify the liner’s polymer or thickness, welding equipment, nozzle, or detailed process settings. Those details matter in practice: the report should not be taken as a universal procedure for every silo liner. Operators should verify compatibility and repair instructions with the liner manufacturer before carrying out work.
