That is a $34 discount—about 20%—as checked on August 18, 2026. It is a reasonable deal, but there is no verified evidence that this is the lamp’s lowest-ever price.
The three-head H60B2 is best understood as a flexible smart accent and ambient lamp. Its independently adjustable lights can aim at a wall, reading chair, plant, or display, while RGBWWIC lighting, app control, voice assistants, and Matter support provide far more flexibility than a conventional floor lamp.

In practice, that makes it suitable for layered lighting: one head can wash a wall, another can point toward a chair, and a third can highlight artwork, a plant, or a television wall.

Is it bright enough for reading?
The H60B2 is rated at up to 1,500 lumens at 6,500K, according to its user manual. That specification suggests it can provide useful white light as well as colorful atmosphere.
However, 1,500 lumens is a maximum specification under a particular white-light setting. Saturated red, blue, and other RGB colors should not be assumed to deliver the same useful brightness as neutral white light. The three directional heads may also create pools of light rather than uniform, overhead-style illumination.

So, it may work well beside a reading chair when aimed carefully, but it should not automatically be treated as a dedicated task lamp. No independent measurements of reading performance, color rendering, flicker, or light uniformity were verified for this listing.
Why the three-head design matters
- Separate zones: Aim different heads at different areas instead of relying on one beam.
- Wall washing: Point a head toward a wall for indirect ambient light.
- Decorative highlighting: Illuminate a plant, shelf, artwork, or display.
- Layered color: Use separate colors or brightness levels for a more varied room effect.
- Flexible placement: Redirect the heads as the room’s layout changes.
These are capabilities implied by the lamp’s independently controllable, adjustable design—not independent test results. Room size, wall color, placement, and aiming will determine how effective the lighting is.
Smart-home compatibility
The lamp works with Govee Home and supports Alexa, Google Assistant/Google Home, and Matter-compatible platforms. Govee says Matter enables control through Siri, and the manual lists Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa as compatible Matter apps.
Rank #2
- Tri-Zone Independent Lighting: Switch between upper ambient ripples, middle RGBIC light, 1000lm focused task lighting, and mixed zones for movie nights, work, or parties. The app version must be 7.0.1 or above to support the firmware updates needed to activate the upper and lower sections illumination combo.
- DIY Dynamic Ripple Lighting: The floor lamp's 330° rotating lamp head casts customizable RGBWW water ripple effects onto ceilings. Cover around 215ft² walls with 80+ scenes, ideal for tall living rooms and master bedrooms.
- Circadian Rhythm & Health-Centric Lighting: Mimic natural light with a color temperature ranging from 2,700K (Warm) to 6,500K (Cool) with "Auto Run". Program this floor lamp to boost productivity with cool tones or unwind with warm sunset hues.
- Smart Home Ready: Compatible with SmartThings, Alexa, Matter, Google Assistant, and Govee Home App. Create DIY light shows, music-reactive beats, or immersive DreamView scenes for parties (Ensure that your Wi-Fi router is 2.4GHz capable)
- Sleek Design for Any Space: This modern floor lamp features an inner tapered design with transparent black shade accents to blend with any décor. Built with rust-proof aluminum and whisper-quiet motors (<25dB) for years of stylish, quiet performance.
Matter compatibility is useful for buyers who want the lamp in an existing smart-home system, but it does not guarantee that every Govee Home feature will appear in Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Home. Advanced scenes, music effects, timers, and individual-head controls may be more extensive in Govee’s own app than in a third-party controller.
Setup requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
The lamp requires a router supporting 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi; the manual says 5GHz is not supported. This can complicate setup on routers that combine both bands under one network name.
For initial setup:
- Download Govee Home from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in or create a Govee account.
- Turn on Bluetooth and keep the phone near the lamp.
- Open Govee Home and tap the + icon in the top-right corner.
- Search for and select model H60B2.
- Follow the pairing prompts and complete Wi-Fi setup on a supported 2.4GHz network.
Matter is an additional setup step. The manual instructs users to find the Matter QR code or device number on the product or under Device Settings in Govee Home, then scan or enter it in Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, or another compatible platform. Bluetooth should remain enabled, the network should support IPv6, and the initial Matter connection should be completed within 15 minutes after the lamp is first powered on.
If Matter setup fails, the manual says to hold the power button for five seconds to restore factory settings and try again.
What to do if setup fails
- The app cannot find the lamp: Check power and Bluetooth, stay close to the lamp, confirm that H60B2 is selected, and delete and reconnect the device if necessary.
- Wi-Fi setup fails: Confirm the password, use 2.4GHz, do not skip the Wi-Fi stage, and move the lamp closer to the router. The manual recommends trying within roughly 50 feet during troubleshooting.
- Matter fails: Recheck the QR code or device number, confirm IPv6 support, and repeat the process after a factory reset if required.
- Alexa or Google Assistant will not connect: Confirm that the lamp is online in Govee Home, then follow voice-control setup from the device settings. Deleting and reconnecting the device may help.
- Some LEDs do not light: The manual directs users to contact customer support for replacement assistance if the lamp cannot display a selected color fully or LED beads fail.
Important ownership caveats
The LEDs are not replaceable
The internal light sources cannot be replaced by the user. If the light source fails, the manual says the product should be replaced. That is a meaningful disadvantage compared with a conventional tree lamp that accepts replaceable bulbs.
It is for indoor use only
The lamp is not waterproof and should not be exposed to splashes or drops. Keep it away from candles, liquid-filled objects, and heat sources. The stated operating range is 14°F to 104°F (-10°C to 40°C).

- Industry-First 3-Zone Control: This tall floor lamp uniquely features independently adjustable light zones with curved lenses and a 330° /60°adjustable head. Achieve seamless 172 ft² ceiling wash effects, precise light targeting—exclusive modern floor lamp with signature silhouette elevates any space.
- Govee-Exclusive Scene Engine: Govee LuminBlend tech delivers richer soft lighting options and 77 preset modes. The smart floor lamp features 6 specialized music modes—ideal for home or media rooms.
- Matter-Supported Smart Lighting: As a certified Matter-compatible LED floor lamp, control colors/brightness via HomeKit(IPv6)/Alexa/Google. This standing lamp enables whole-home automation with future-ready connectivity.
- Immersive Audiovisual Sync: This smart floor lamp connects 5 Govee lights (30m range) via Govee Music DreamView. Corner lamp transforms rooms with rhythm-matching effects—perfect for game nights or parties. Torchiere floor lamp’s vibrant flows enhance music/movies dynamically.
- Engineered Family Safety: Wires pre-threaded through 4 poles & secured in foam slots. Simply connect poles, attach head/base—lighting-ready in minutes. Zero tools required. The weighted base prevents tipping even on plush carpet.
Use care around children and pets
Govee says the widened base is intended to improve stability, but the available documentation does not provide an independently verified anti-tip rating. Place the lamp where children and pets cannot pull on the pole or power cord, and follow the manual’s supervision guidance.
Smart features depend on setup
Although the physical controls can operate the lamp, its broader smart functionality depends on app, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and—where applicable—Matter setup. It is not the best choice for someone who wants a completely offline, switch-only light.

Choose it instead if you want a minimalist corner lamp or the higher claimed lumen rating. Choose the Tree Floor Lamp if you specifically want three physical light sources that can be aimed in different directions.
Govee Torchiere Floor Lamp
The Torchiere was listed at $89.99 versus $149.99 in the available results. It offers three independently controlled zones, 77 preset scenes, Matter, Alexa, Google Home, music modes, and a claimed 67-inch height.
It is the better fit for lower-cost, ceiling-washing ambient light. The Tree Floor Lamp is more suitable for targeted illumination and a visibly three-headed design.

- Tri-Zone Independent Lighting: Three effects in one "Govee lamp". Upper: nebula effect. Middle: RGBIC light. Lower: WW LEDs (2700K–6500K). 1000lm at 6500K—ideal for reading and office work.

Conventional replaceable-bulb tree lamp
A standard tree lamp may be preferable if you value offline operation, replaceable bulbs, easy repair, and minimal dependence on Wi-Fi or an account. It will generally lack Govee’s integrated scenes, color effects, Matter control, and coordinated smart-lighting features.

Who should buy it?
Buy the Tree Floor Lamp if you want colorful ambient lighting, three independently aimable heads, Matter compatibility, and the option to illuminate separate areas from one floor footprint. It is particularly appealing to existing Govee users and to shoppers furnishing a living room, bedroom, gaming area, reading nook, or accent wall.
Skip it if you need the brightest possible work light, replaceable bulbs, outdoor use, 5GHz-only networking, or a lamp that works without an app and account. Also avoid assuming that every Govee Home feature will transfer unchanged to Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Home.
Verdict
At $135.99 as checked on August 18, 2026, the Govee Tree Floor Lamp is a worthwhile discount from Govee’s listed $169.99 price, but not a verified historical low. Its value comes from flexibility rather than simply brightness: three separately controllable heads, broad aiming range, colorful scenes, and Matter support make it much more versatile than a basic floor lamp.
It makes the most sense for shoppers who want expressive, adjustable smart lighting from one fixture. It is less compelling as a pure reading lamp, a uniform primary room light, or a long-term repairable fixture because its LEDs are integrated and nonreplaceable.
