It replaces the passive wheel on an existing barrow with a motorized wheel assembly, a battery case, and a thumb throttle. The seller says the bracket bolts into the original four-hole wheel mount, but it also tells buyers to measure before ordering. As of 8 October 2026 the seller’s listing showed the kit at $545 and marked it sold out, and the seller’s two official pages publish different motor ratings. Treat the kit as a conversion that still needs confirmation on fit, motor specification, and load capacity before you rely on it on a job site.
What the eBarrow Kit replaces and what comes in the box
The kit is designed to keep your existing tray and frame and swap only the wheel. According to the official listing, the package includes:
- a high-torque motor with an off-road wheel
- a 10Ah battery case with electronics
- a four-hole bracket
- a thumb throttle and quick-mount strap
- cable-management straps
- a 2A charger
- printed instructions
The official product listing describes the kit this way. The main site adds a 24V, 10Ah lithium-ion battery, a solid polyurethane tire with off-road tread, an IP67-rated case, a battery meter, an on/off switch, and the thumb throttle. The IP67 rating and the other specifications are seller-published. No independent certification for the kit was found in the sources reviewed.
Will the eBarrow Kit fit my wheelbarrow?
The seller says the bracket uses the same four bolts and holes as the original wheel, and it calls the fit “universal.” Its installation guidance says the single-piece kit swaps in for the passive wheel and takes under four minutes to install. That is a manufacturer claim. No independent timed installation was found. The same guidance asks anyone unsure about compatibility to measure the distances shown in its instructions. Treat “universal” as the seller’s wording and check the barrow in your hand.

- Inspect the wheel mount on your barrow. Confirm it has a four-hole pattern and that the bolt holes are accessible with the wheel removed.
- Measure the distances shown in the seller’s installation instructions and compare them with your barrow before ordering.
- Ask the seller to confirm fit in writing, giving your barrow’s make, model, and country.
- Note the market limit. The seller’s fit claim is for U.S.-market wheelbarrows using the relevant four-hole mount. Nothing reviewed establishes fit for barrows sold elsewhere.
If your barrow does not match, a replacement wheelbarrow with a matching four-hole mount is the practical fallback. No specific replacement model has been verified as compatible.
Motor and battery figures: the seller’s two pages disagree
The seller publishes two different motor ratings on two official pages. Both pages are undated, so there is no way to tell which one reflects the current production unit.

Until the seller confirms which configuration is currently shipping, do not quote either rating as settled. Ask for the rating on the unit you would receive, and get it in writing.
Prototype history and which version you are buying
The technical details page separates an earlier square-box prototype from the later commercial version. It describes the rounded case and solid tire as improvements on the prototype. The page also recounts prototype testing by the maker, including yard use. That is a first-party account, not independent testing, and it describes a prototype. Do not assume prototype-era results or features apply to the unit you buy.

Slopes, rough terrain, and payload
The seller promotes the kit for hauling on slopes and rough terrain. Those are the conditions where a motorized barrow is most useful on a construction site, and also where payload and steering balance matter most.
The pages reviewed do not establish a maximum payload that has been independently verified. They also contain no controlled performance result, no independent load test, and no safety certification for the kit. Any load, slope, or run-time figure you find should be treated as the seller’s claim unless the seller provides the test conditions behind it.

How much does the eBarrow Kit cost, and is it in stock?
The official listing showed $545 and a “Sold out” status when checked on 8 October 2026. Price and stock can change, so check the listing again on the day you intend to order. The listing describes refunds in general terms. The linked refund-policy details were not reviewed here, so read them before purchase.
Retrofit or complete powered wheelbarrow?
Search results also surface a different product, the E-Barrow by Greens, sold in New Zealand as a complete powered wheelbarrow. Its technical specifications page lists a 48V, 500W motor and a 160kg capacity. Those figures belong to that complete barrow and do not apply to the eBarrow Kit.

Choose the retrofit if your existing barrow fits the bracket and you want to keep it. Choose a complete powered barrow if you need a stated rated load from a seller and the existing mount cannot be matched.
