Xiaomi’s September 2026 14kg three-drum washer is real, and its launch details are reasonably clear. Its HyperOS link is not. The launch coverage describes an AI laundry feature called AI Mijia Lingyun for this series and does not establish HyperOS support for it. The HyperOS Connect claim belongs to an earlier, different Xiaomi washer. This article separates the reported specifications from the claims that remain unverified, and flags the points that matter for a built-in installation.
What Xiaomi launched
Xiaomi presented the Mijia Triple-Tube Washing Machine Health Wash Pro 14kg series at its autumn product event on September 23, 2026, according to IT Home’s coverage. The family has two variants: a washer-only model and a washer-dryer model. Product naming varies across coverage. Chinese-language listings use 米家三筒洗衣机健康洗 Pro 14kg, and English reports use “three-drum” or “triple-drum” phrasing. The Triple-Tube name is the one used in the launch report and is the most reliable identifier when you search for the product.
How the 14kg wash capacity is divided
The advertised 14kg total is split across three drums, one large and two small. The table below uses the figures reported in launch coverage from IT Home and Gizmochina, 2026.

The small drums are intended for separate, smaller loads, so the main drum carries most of the wash capacity. The washing ratio is a manufacturer figure, and the launch reporting does not define how it is calculated. Treat the two ratios as Xiaomi’s own numbers, and do not compare them directly with ratings from other brands.

Drying on the washer-dryer model
Only the washer-dryer variant carries the reported 9kg total drying capacity, split 7kg in the main drum and 1kg in each small drum. The washer-only variant has no drying function. The launch coverage does not state the drying method, nor whether the machine needs venting, a condensate outlet, or any clearance for exhaust. Those details matter for a cabinet and should be confirmed in the manual before you plan the space.
Running the drums at the same time
Launch coverage from IT Home and Gizmochina says the three drums have separate water supplies and independent controls, so different loads can run concurrently. The practical claim is that a small, delicate load does not have to wait for a full main-drum cycle. That is a manufacturer description. No independent test of simultaneous operation was found in the published coverage, and the reports do not give cycle times, noise levels, or energy use for concurrent runs.

The AI Mijia Lingyun feature
According to the launch reports, AI Mijia Lingyun uses Xiaomi laundry algorithms and the Xiaomi MiMo model. A user describes the fabric, colour and type of stain, and the machine suggests a wash setting. This is a reported software capability. The coverage does not show that the suggested settings clean better than manual selection.
HyperOS: what is and is not established
The September 2026 series
The launch coverage reviewed for the 14kg Triple-Tube series describes AI Mijia Lingyun and does not state that this model runs HyperOS or supports HyperOS Connect. Until Xiaomi publishes a product-specific specification that names HyperOS for this exact model, the headline claim should be treated as unconfirmed.

The earlier Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro (14kg)
A Notebookcheck report from December 2025 covers a different machine, the Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro (14kg), and says it supports HyperOS Connect. That model has different specifications and a different price from the September 2026 series. Its connectivity claim cannot be transferred to the newer product.
Xiaomi’s 2025 corporate filing
Xiaomi Corporation’s Q3 2025 results, filed with HKEX, state: “In September 2025, we launched two new products: the Mijia Tri-drum Washing Machine Pro, and the Mijia Refrigerator Pro.” The filing confirms that an earlier tri-drum product launched in 2025. It does not give the 2026 series’ specifications or software support, and it does not establish whether its “Tri-drum” product is the same machine as the Three-Zone model described by Notebookcheck.

These are dated China launch prices. They are not current prices and do not apply outside China. Gizmochina reported that pre-orders opened in China on September 14, 2026, and that Xiaomi had not announced delivery timing when it published that report. The coverage reviewed does not establish international release plans, local warranty terms, or service access outside China.
Installation and cabinet fit
Launch coverage reports a footprint comparable to Xiaomi’s standard 10kg front-loader and support for standard ultra-slim built-in installation. Exact external and cabinet dimensions are not stated in that coverage. Before you order, check the following against the appliance manual and the actual opening:

- Position of the water inlet and drain relative to the recess, and whether the hoses reach without strain.
- Dedicated power outlet location and the circuit it sits on.
- Floor load and levelling, since the three-drum layout’s weight distribution is not stated in the coverage.
- For the washer-dryer, any venting, condensate or ventilation requirement, which the coverage does not describe.
What has not been verified
- No hands-on or independent testing of cleaning, hygiene, energy use, noise or durability appears in the published coverage. The “Health Wash” name describes a claimed function only.
- The washing ratios and drum dimensions are manufacturer-reported figures.
- No attributable statement from a named Xiaomi executive about the 2026 series was found.
- International availability, delivery timing and local warranty are not confirmed.
