Xiaomi launched the MIJIA Underwear Washing and Drying Machine in China in April 2023. Crowdfunding was set to open on April 26, 2023 at 1,599 yuan, with a regular price of 1,999 yuan. The $232 figure in the headline is a conversion that Gizmochina applied in its April 2023 report. It is not a current dollar price, and the available coverage does not show that the machine is on sale today at any price.
What Xiaomi launched
The product’s Chinese name is 米家内衣物洗烘一体机, which translates as MIJIA underwear washing and drying machine. The “一体机” part means an all-in-one unit: one appliance that both washes and dries small garments. Xiaomi’s own product page under that name confirms the item, but the retrieved page text does not give detailed technical specifications or current sale status.
Coverage presents the machine as a compact washer-dryer for underwear and other small loads. Launch reports did not specify its capacity, so any description of its size should be read as qualitative.
Prices and what each figure means
Three price-related figures appear in the April 2023 coverage. Each one has a specific meaning, and none of them should be read as a current price.
