Harry Styles’s main reported base is Hampstead, a north London neighborhood, where recent reporting describes a cluster of three nearby homes. A February 2026 overview also reports residences in Italy and a secondary base in Berlin, while earlier coverage ties him to a Tribeca penthouse and to Los Angeles houses that are now in the past. Ownership, past sales, rentals and sightings are different kinds of evidence, so this article labels each property by its status instead of treating every address as a current home. It names neighborhoods and cities only.

London: the Hampstead cluster

Hampstead is the strongest-supported answer for Styles’s UK base. Reporting places him in a group of three homes close to one another, and it is the only part of his portfolio where the coverage includes land-registry-based transaction detail.

The first Hampstead home (2012)

Styles reportedly bought his first Hampstead home in 2012, when he was 18. House & Garden describes it as a four-bedroom house and reports that he still owns it, citing the Evening Standard for that present-ownership claim. Of the Hampstead properties, this is the only one with a present-ownership statement in the reporting.

The 2019 and 2020 purchases

The Evening Standard’s account, published March 4, 2020, said Styles had bought a five-bedroom Georgian semi in 2019 and a third Hampstead property in 2020. The later purchase was a stucco-fronted villa dating from the early 18th century. According to the Standard, it was not advertised on the open market, and the report drew on Land Registry documents.

The 2019 purchase is described differently in other coverage. The Standard calls it a five-bedroom Georgian semi, while Mansion Global’s 2019 report describes a Hampstead townhouse bought that April. The reporting does not confirm whether these are the same property, so treat the two descriptions as unreconciled.

House & Garden’s February 2026 overview describes the cluster as three homes and states that the first remains in Styles’s ownership. For the other two, the reporting gives purchase details but no newer ownership check.

What local agents said about the area

The Standard quoted Trevor Abrahmsohn, a local estate agent, who read the 2020 purchase as a restoration: “I think by buying the other half of the house he’s just completing the picture and presumably restoring the house to the mansion that it once was.” That is the agent’s interpretation, not a statement from Styles.

James Morton of Dexters described the neighborhood as a place of privacy and access: “It’s a very exclusive, very prestigious address, quite quiet but maybe that’s what the joy of somewhere like that is,” adding, “Somewhere to escape to, but still very convenient for getting in and out of the centre of London.”

United States: a penthouse and past Los Angeles homes

Tribeca, New York

Architectural Digest reports that Styles bought a Tribeca penthouse in 2017 for $8.7 million. The available reporting does not establish that he still owns it, so it should be read as a reported purchase rather than a current residence.

Los Angeles

Mansion Global reported in 2019 that a buyer was under contract for a gated home on the Sunset Strip that Styles owned. Architectural Digest also recounts an earlier Beverly Hills home that he sold in 2016. Both properties belong to the history of his portfolio. Neither is described in the reporting as a current residence.

Italy and Berlin: reported, not confirmed

House & Garden’s February 2026 overview says Styles is widely reported to own an apartment in Rome and a home near the Lazio-Umbria border. It also reports a villa on the Tuscan coast, citing Italian reporting for that claim, and says he has reportedly established a secondary base in Berlin’s Mitte district. None of these holdings is confirmed by public-record checks in the reporting. A sighting in a city, or a photograph taken there, does not show that someone lives there.

Portfolio at a glance

The table lists each property with the status the reporting gives it and the source and date behind that status. Reported prices are historical transaction amounts, not current valuations, and the reporting does not provide current values.

How to read a property report

Property coverage about public figures mixes several kinds of evidence. Use this checklist before treating any address as a home:

  • Ownership: Check a public title register. In England and Wales, HM Land Registry holds ownership records and publishes price-paid data. In the United States, property ownership is usually recorded at the county recorder or assessor’s office. A register shows the registered owner, not who lives in the property.
  • Occupancy: Look for a dated, attributed statement or a verifiable record. A sighting, a visit or a planning application does not establish residence.
  • Date: A purchase reported in 2017 says nothing about ownership in 2026. Read every status label against the date of the report.
  • Price: A reported sale or purchase price is a historical transaction figure. It is not a current valuation.
  • Attribution: Phrases such as “widely reported” usually mean the claim is secondhand, often relayed from another publication. Trace it to the original report where possible.

The most recent broad overview is House & Garden’s February 12, 2026 piece. Ownership and occupancy can change after that date, so the status labels above describe what was reported as of early 2026.
