“E7000” by itself may not identify a unique product. This article concerns Zhanlida E7000 Clear Contact Adhesive, described on Zhanlida’s official E7000 product page. A different product, Elmer’s Carpenter’s Wood Glue, also appears with E7000 among its product codes; that naming overlap is not evidence about Zhanlida adhesive. The listed materials indicate intended uses; they do not establish compatibility with every grade, coating, surface preparation or structural application.
The available product information does not verify performance in continuous submersion, pools, aquariums, plumbing or other installations where a bond failure could cause damage. It also does not establish that the adhesive forms a watertight seal. How long does Zhanlida say E7000 takes to cure?
Zhanlida lists a quick-cure time of 4–6 minutes and a full-cure time of 24–48 hours. The quick-cure figure is not the full-cure time and does not mean the adhesive is ready for water exposure after a few minutes. Follow the directions for the exact product and allow the stated full-cure period before exposing the bond to moisture.
