Frigidaire stove controls vary by model, so there is no confirmed button sequence that applies to every range. Check your model’s Owner’s Manual first. On the range covered by one Frigidaire manual, the steps are to press Set Clock, enter the time on the numeric keypad, and press START.
Set the clock using your model’s controls
Frigidaire says its product controls may vary by model and directs owners to the Owner’s Manual for clock-setting instructions. Use the manual for your exact stove rather than assuming its buttons match another Frigidaire range. You can look up the manual through Frigidaire’s Owner Center support page.
Example: a range with a Set Clock button and numeric keypad
The Frigidaire Owner’s Manual 808527704 documents this sequence for the range it covers:
- Press Set Clock.
- Enter the desired time using the numeric keypad. For example, the manual shows entering 1 3 0 for 1:30.
- Press START.
This is an example for the model in that manual, not a universal instruction. If your control panel has different buttons or no keypad, follow the instructions for your model instead.

If so, the board is likely good and the oven igniter is weak and will need to be replaced. If it is not glowing the igniter and gas valve can be tested. If they test ok, then the board is likely the problem.

If the clock will not change
On the model documented in Manual 808527704, the clock cannot be changed while a cooking feature, Self Clean, or Delay Start is active. If one of those functions is running, end it before trying again. That restriction is established for this model; the available source does not confirm that every Frigidaire stove has the same restriction.
Set the display to 12- or 24-hour time
Manual 808527704 also describes selecting a 12- or 24-hour clock display. Follow the manual’s display-setting instructions for that option; the exact control sequence is model-specific and should not be assumed for other Frigidaire ranges.

After a power-up or power interruption
For the range covered by Manual 808527704, the display flashes 12:00 when the appliance first powers up, and the clock must be set before operating the oven. If your display or controls behave differently, consult the manual matched to your model number.
